Experience:

• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in large-scale building construction projects, including at least 5 years as Project Manager/Project Lead, with proven capability in independently managing end-to-end project execution.

• Practical experience in civil construction and MEPF/electromechanical coordination, along with proven exposure to consultants, contractors, suppliers, and multi-vendor project environments.

• Prior experience in industrial and commercial construction projects involving pile foundations, steel structures, and building-related electromechanical systems.

• Technical Skills & Competencies

• Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering construction methodologies, project execution practices, construction materials, BOQ preparation/review, estimation, and site execution procedures.

• Ability to read, interpret, review, and coordinate architectural, structural, and MEPF drawings, with proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) for independent review and verification of technical drawings.

• Good understanding of project planning and scheduling tools (such as MS Project or equivalent), along with knowledge of quality assurance/control procedures, construction safety standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.

• Leadership & Soft Skills

• Strong leadership capability with proven experience in managing multidisciplinary project teams, along with excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.

• Ability to effectively manage multiple stakeholders, including consultants, contractors, vendors, and senior management.

Khokon Memorial Hospital, an expansion of M&J Group, is currently seeking applications from qualified and motivated individuals for the position of Physiotherapist. The selected candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning and implementing rehabilitation programs to improve patient mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit physical disabilities.

Job Context: The Project Manager will be responsible for the complete execution and successful delivery of the construction project, including civil, electromechanical, and fire safety (MEPF) works. The role involves overall ownership of the project from initiation through final handover, ensuring that all activities are executed in alignment with approved designs, project timelines, budgetary targets, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations.

This is a site-based position located in Sirajonj and requires strong leadership capability, sound technical expertise, and effective coordination across multiple functions and stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead overall project planning, execution, monitoring, and successful completion, ensuring timely delivery of all civil, structural, electromechanical, and fire safety (MEPF) works within the approved budget and schedule.

• Review building designs and specifications for compliance with the Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC), and recommend necessary revisions for cost optimization and mitigation of construction risks.

• Lead, supervise, and manage the on-site project team, contractors, subcontractors, and supervisors while establishing effective daily/weekly progress monitoring, reporting, and control mechanisms.

• Prepare project execution plans, work programs, manpower deployment plans, material and service estimation, material procurement schedules, and review/approve shop drawings before execution.

• Coordinate closely with the Architect, Structural Consultant, MEPF Consultant, and other relevant stakeholders to review, interpret, and verify engineering drawings, specifications, and design documents.

• Resolve design-related issues in consultation with the respective consultants and ensure execution of works in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

• Identify and notify the Consultant/Client of any errors, discrepancies, conflicts, or omissions in drawings and design documents, particularly regarding coordination among architectural, structural, and MEPF drawings.

• Maintain proper documentation, approvals, and archiving of all project-related and construction records.

• Identify project material and service requirements and coordinate closely with the Procurement team to ensure timely sourcing and delivery, avoiding project delays and disruptions.

• Engage with suppliers, vendors, contractors, and service providers for technical clarification, execution alignment, and bid evaluation where required.

• Verify and certify bills/invoices submitted by contractors, suppliers, and consultants.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and overall project budgets, and monitor expenditures to ensure compliance with approved budgetary limits.

• Take proactive initiatives for cost optimization without compromising project quality or objectives.

• Prepare periodic construction progress reports along with financial summaries for effective project monitoring and control.

• Ensure strict compliance with approved quality standards in all construction and installation activities, including required material testing, quality verification, and inspection of incoming materials and completed works.

• Implement and monitor safety, occupational health, and environmental standards at the project site in accordance with prevailing laws and regulations.

• Maintain close communication and coordination with top management and key stakeholders, translating strategic expectations into actionable project execution plans.

• Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, challenges, and mitigation measures.
