Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's Degree or equivalent in Disaster Management/ Development Studies/ any other relevant subject from any reputed university.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare work plan and oversee implementation and monitor progress as per plan developed.
∎ Guide and supervise field staff to accomplish objectives of the project.
∎ Work on financial tracking on regular basis for timely budget burning.
∎ Visit the Project activities of and ensure the regular supervision of project activities.
∎ Support/ provide lead in emergency preparedness, response, and recovery activities in case of any disaster event.
∎ Lead to prepare situation/incident reports, local level emergency response coordination (both internal and external) and reporting.
∎ Regular monitoring of emergency response stockpiling warehouses and reporting.
∎ Contribute to the development and implementation of DRR strategies.
∎ Arrange capacity building/ training for the various sectors within BRAC on DRR issues.
∎ Attend and represent BRAC in sectoral coordination meetings both at field level.
∎ Oversee and monitor proper implementation through, capacity building, quality inputs supply and effective coordination.
∎ Review financial reports and analysis regarding the budget to ensure appropriate burn rate.
∎ Ensure field staff capacity development plan with all training modules are in place for the project training implementation.
∎ Ensure reporting in time (Daily/weekly/monthly/Need base) to Sector Lead, DRR and HCMP management when required.
∎ Assist the preparation of project proposal by providing information.
∎ Assist the preparation and implementation of the work plans and result frameworks as endorsed by the management.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Qualified females are highly motivated for application.
∎ At least 5 years of working experience in DRR/project management in the development/NGO sector
∎ KNOWLEDGE: BRAC's values and mission, development sector, global development scenario to identify funding trends, financial and grants management, donor agencies, contemporary DRR practices
∎ SKILLS: Budgeting, communication, researching, writing, monitoring and evaluating, auditing, project management, project implementation
∎ COMPETENCIES: Facilitating group meetings, managing timelines, oral and written fluency in both Bangla and English, handling critical issues with relevant stakeholders
