Job Context:
∎ Concern Worldwide, Bangladesh is implementing the multi-sectoral PRM funded "Delivering Health, Nutrition and Livelihood, and Protection services for Rohingya Refugees and vulnerable host communities in Cox`s Bazar, Bangladesh" Project in Rohingya Refugee Camps and the host community in Cox`s Bazar from September 2020 to August 2023, in consortium with IRC and BBC Media Action.
∎ Type of Contract: Fixed term contract up to 31 August 2022
∎ Job Purpose: S/he will be responsible for project implementation including planning, initiation, quality service delivery, monitoring and evaluation, reporting, procurement tracking, budget management and coordination with partners, consortium, sectors and local authorities.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinate project start up activities including inception meetings, recruitment, procurement plan and local authorities' permissions.
∎ Ensure that Concern Worldwide administrative and financial policies and procedures are understood and followed by all project staff and volunteers.
∎ Coordinate with consortium partners and local partners in this project, relevant sectors and agencies in camps for mutual support and smooth implementation.
∎ Support HR department to ensure timely recruitment of qualified project staff; monitor staff performance and ensure timely performance development reviews and ensure staff welfare, safety and security in liaison with HR.
∎ Work with MEAL team to ensure that there is project M&E system in place with regular systematic activity review for tracking project progress against targets.
∎ Ensure that the project submits high quality project reports within agreed time line and formats to demonstrate project results, as agreed in the consortium.
∎ Promote and ensure compliance with the requirements of Concern's Code of Conduct and its associated safeguarding policies to ensure maximum protection to programme beneficiaries, and to welcome feedback.
∎ Any other duties as specified by the Line Manager/Country Director/Emergency Director.
∎ Accountability:
∎ In line with Concern's commitments under the Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS):
∎ Actively promote meaningful community participation and consultation at all stages of the project cycle (planning, implementation, M&E);
∎ Work with relevant colleagues to ensure that the Complaints and Response Mechanism (CRM) is functional and accessible, that feedback and complaints are welcomed and addressed;
∎ Work with relevant colleagues to ensure that information about CRM, safeguarding and expected staff behaviour is disseminated among programme participants and communities.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 5 years progressively management work experience in Nutrition or Food Security
∎ Experience in managing project budget is required
∎ Good computer and report writing skills are required
∎ Strong written and verbal communication skills in English is required
∎ Experience with the Care Group approach would be an advantage
∎ Experience working with older people over 60 years would be an advantage
∎ Good knowledge on Rohingya refugee context is desirable

Salary:
∎ BDT 125,261/- to BDT 178,286 /-

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Monthly Hardship Allowance of BDT 10,000/-, PF (contributory), Bonus (02), Gratuity, Group life and Hospitalisation Insurance coverages, OPD Allowance, Mobile ceiling as per organisational policy
