Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years’ experience in public health, experience of working for Climate and health will get preference
∎ Strong understanding of the intersection between climate change and health outcomes.
∎ Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster collaboration among diverse stakeholders and team members.
∎ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in data analysis and program evaluation.
∎ Ability to represent BRAC to different forum, governments, partners, donors, communities and other stakeholders.
∎ Proven experience on project Management and financial management

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and manage detailed work plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure effective implementation of project activities.
∎ Oversee and monitor the progress of planned activities to ensure alignment with project goals and donor requirements.
∎ Ensure tracking of project performance (including financial part) and response as per findings.
∎ Ensure regular progress reports for donors, stakeholders, and internal leadership.
∎ Facilitate collaboration with stakeholders, including IEDCR, MORU national health programs, local health authorities, and other stakeholders working with public health issues.
∎ Coordinate the activities of multidisciplinary teams, including GIS experts, meteorologists, and health professionals of internal and external entities including govt., to achieve project objectives.
∎ Represent the project activities in meetings, workshops, and forums, ensuring effective communication of goals and outcomes.
∎ Identify risks and challenges to project implementation and develop mitigation strategies for effective outcome of the project.
∎ Guide the team to development and delivery of training programs and capacity-building sessions for project staff and stakeholders to foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES·
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organization and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
∎ With the support of The Global Fund, The Climate Change and Health Project aims to raise awareness about the health impacts of climate change, particularly the rise in vector-borne and communicable diseases. By engaging local communities, health authorities, and relevant stakeholders, the project focuses on preventive measures, early warning systems, and capacity building to reduce the health risks associated with climate change. Activities include advocacy campaigns, training for health workers, seasonal health updates, and the identification and elimination of disease breeding grounds.
∎ The project strives to enhance community resilience and promote sustainable health practices in the face of climate challenges.
