Education:
    • Master of Social Science (MSS) in Social Work, Public Administration, Development Studies
    • Master of Law (LLM)
  • Masters Degree, preferably in Social Work, Law, Public Administration, Development Studies, or other relevant social science disciplines.

Skills Required:

Additional Requirements:
  • At least 6 years of professional experience in managing programs, engaging with children and community members, leading community mobilization, strengthening child protection systems, and implementing awareness-raising and advocacy activities.

  • Experience in managing program/projects with child labour interventions (Preferable)

  • Participatory program planning, management, monitoring and evaluation within a development NGO or an INGO.

  • Experience in child rights focus projects, advocacy and research

  • Experience in managing partnerships with government, NGOs, and community-based organizations.

  • Strong working knowledge of child rights and child protection issues in Bangladesh.

  • Technical understanding of child labour issues (highly desirable).

  • Familiarity with national policies, community structures, and relevant government mechanisms is an added advantage.

  • Strong skills in planning and organizing, information technology, analytical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, financial management, and results-oriented work.

  • Ability to work with children respectfully and with dignity, demonstrating a flexible, inclusive, and non-judgmental attitude.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

  • Ability to work confidently in English, including communication, documentation, reporting, and coordination with stakeholders.

The Opportunity
The Manager is responsible for managing and implementing the project. The position is responsible to maintain close communication with partner and donor organizations and ensure donor requirements. The incumbent is responsible for technical support, capacity building, and ensure program quality, monitoring and supervision of work plan and activities implemented by partners. He or she will directly supervise Senior Project Officer and MIS and Documentation Officer and will provide them regular technical support. Her/his responsibilities will include substantial field visit to ensure high quality and responsive delivery of results for its impact. Reporting to members and donors will be her/his one of the core responsibilities. This position will maintain smooth coordination with stakeholders, including parents, caregivers, community, government and others and will also play an active role in advocacy initiatives.
