• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from BUET, CUET, KUET, or RUET, with IEB membership.

• Candidates holding Project Management Professional (PMP)® or PMI Construction Professional (PMI-CP)™ certification will be given preference.

• Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in the real estate industry is required for Deputy Manager position.

• Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience in the real estate industry is required for Senior Project Engineer position.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in the real estate industry is required for Project Engineer position.

• At least 3 years of experience as Project In-Charge for as-cast concrete surface commercial building projects in a reputable real estate organization will be considered an advantage.

• Applicants should have hands-on experience in the following areas: active involvement in construction site management, execution and supervision of deep excavation (4 or 5 basements), and high-rise commercial building construction (20+ floors).

• Must have sound knowledge of structural stages of high-rise building projects.

• Field experience in the operation and safety protocols of heavy equipment such as rotary drilling rigs, tower cranes, and construction passenger hoists will be considered an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards, including BNBC, ACI, and ASTM.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel.

We are looking for dynamic and experienced Project In-Charges to lead the construction of high-rise commercial buildings comprising 5B+G+29 Floors, featuring as-cast concrete surfaces. This role entails full accountability for on-site project execution, including quality assurance, safety compliance, and ensuring timely delivery as per project milestones. The ideal candidates will have a strong technical background, proven experience managing similar large-scale projects, and the leadership skills necessary to guide and manage large site teams effectively.

Job Responsibilities:

• Planning and scheduling of project works, materials, machineries and man power requirements in logical steps to optimum utilization of resources.

• Construction work day to day supervision and monitoring to ensure work progress as per approved drawings, materials, specifications and standards.

• Ensure implementation of quality control programs with minimal wastage of construction materials.

• Implementation of safety guideline, building codes, regulations and inspection compliances to achieve and maintain safe and healthy working environment.

• Coordination with architects, structural engineer, electrical engineer, plumbing engineer, supply chain management and contractors to maintain the schedule & integrity of works.

• Monitor and supervise the activities of project team members according to site Program/ Schedule.

• Preparation of monthly construction budget, progress reports, tracking as per “look ahead” schedule, updating & participate in review meetings with departmental head.

• Maintain and comply with the standard operating procedure at all phases of construction works

• Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and progress monitoring.

• Arrange & attend meeting with contractors and site personnel to identify the issues to improve the quality of work and take initiative accordingly.

• Consistently followed up and ensure that all received materials are in conformity both in respect of desired quality and quantity of works and approved bill of quantity (BOQ).

• Review all types of bills like contractors running bill, petty cash bills, etc.

• Approve and release daily work plans to project engineers and contractors.

• Monitor material consumption and coordinate store requisitions with procurement.

• Verify measurement books and forward verified bills to project manager for approval.

• Identify site bottlenecks (drawing errors, logistics, labor) and escalate as needed.

• Resolve disputes among site staff, labor contractors, or vendors.

• Perform any other engineering or management duties assigned by the higher authority.
