Job Context:
∎ Location: Ukhiya and Teknaf, Cox`s Bazar District
∎ Reports to: Head of Humanitarian Response
∎ Nature of Job: Contract
∎ Level: Senior level position
∎ Project’s duration: 10 months

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overall responsible for the development, implementation and quality of the skill development activities (centre set up, arrangement of training, quality maintenance, etc.) in the assigned camps, in close coordination with the technical staff and project’s partners, to ensure quality work.
∎ Design and finalize implementation plans.
∎ Ensure the work plan is closely followed for the timely implementation of the project activities.
∎ Coordinate with the MEAL team to provide timely and qualitative reports (monthly/ quarterly narrative report/ progress review, project visibility plan, project completion report).
∎ Monitor expenditure based on the approved budget.
∎ Liaison and coordinate with RRRC, CiC, Site Management sectors, implementation committees as well as with the donor’s representatives, partners’ staff and other humanitarian agencies.
∎ Ensure the project’s activities are in line with the humanitarian standards and sectoral guidelines.
∎ Regularly update the senior management on project progress and challenges in the field and ensure their timely solutions.
∎ Keep track of all donor compliance requirements and ensure their adherence.
∎ Ensure effective & efficient use of resources.
∎ Ensure logistics and security to the project’s staff and equipment as per organization’s policies and procedures in coordination with the Logistics department.
∎ Create a congenial/friendly working environment for all staff members and learning culture.
∎ Ensure proper and quality documentation of organizational achievements, lessons learnt and important events.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 7 years of proven experience in managing projects;
∎ Experience of working in humanitarian projects, especially in technical and vocational skill development project, will be an advantage;
∎ Strong understanding of and experience in implementing the Humanitarian Program Cycle;
∎ Able to demonstrate knowledge, understanding, experience and practice of humanitarian values and principles and able to motivate others to achieve results in complex situations without much supervision;
∎ Strong knowledge of Core Humanitarian Standards, Sphere/ Red Cross Code of Conduct, and HAP
∎ Sound knowledge and strong skills in Performance Management and staff development;
∎ Strong coordination and management at the field level with multiple stakeholders;
∎ Strong skills in Networking and liaison with local counterparts;
∎ Significant proven work experience in delivering projects with UN agencies/ INGOs/ NGOs;
∎ Excellent report writing skills and proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint;
∎ Fluency in English is required (oral and written);
∎ Knowledge of capacity building tools and techniques.
∎ Good understanding of basic human rights.
∎ Ability to cope up and mix with multicultural people and multi-tasks.
∎ Ability to foster collaborative, transparent and accountable relationships.
