Educational Requirements:

Job Context:

∎ Job Purpose: S/he will be responsible for the overall implementation of this food security, livelihood and marketing focused project. S/he will be responsible for the oversight, team supervision, reporting, monitoring as well as coordination of the project - both across Concern departments, as well as with the sector, other implementing agencies within the project coverage camp(s), WFP and Government of Bangladesh authorities as required.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Project Implementation: Oversee implementation of project activities including capactiy building of the project teams on the different approaches such as small scale poultry rearing, permagardens and other home garden options for use in small spaces, small business and market development, food preservation and processing for sale.
∎ Budget Management: Ensure that Concern Worldwide administrative, financial and resource management policies and regulation are understood, implemented and followed by all project staff and volunteers.
∎ Coordination: Work closely with other Concern project teams to ensure integration of all livelihoods projects within Concern Worldwide, for smooth operation and mutual support.
∎ Human Resource Management: Monitor staff performance on the job, and ensure timely and thorough performance development reviews for project staff in liaison with HR, as well as ensure that staff are aware of and utilise their leave entitlements.
∎ Monitoring and Evaluation: Ensure that the project M&E system in place and activity review takes place with a systematic way for visualizing the project progress.
∎ Reporting: Ensuring that the project delivers high quality reports within agreed time line and format to demonstrate the project results, as agreed with WFP.
∎ Additional Roles: Liaise with MEAL, nutrition advisor and emergency director to set up and sustain a robust mechanism that allows for an open communication and feedback for accountability to program participants and adhering to the Core Humanitarian Standards of Accountability (CHS)
∎ Undertake other related duties as may reasonably be assigned by the Country Director/Emergency Director or the line manager.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least five (05) years progressively management work experience in Food Security and/or livelihood programs.
∎ Experience in managing project budget is required
∎ Good computer and report writing skills are required
∎ Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
∎ Familiarity with Nutrition Sensitive Programming is desirable
∎ Experience with engaging with private sector or businesses is desirable
∎ Good knowledge on Rohingya refugee context and evolution of the appropriate programming is desirable
