Job Context:
∎ Job Context: Samaj Kallayan O Unnayan Shangstha (SKUS) envisions a peaceful, prosperous, and poverty-free society that ensures everyone`s basic needs and rights. SKUS has since the 2017 Rohingya refugee influx worked in Cox`s Bazar district with children adolescents, women, and men. SKUS works to provide child protection services, access to learning opportunities in a safe and protective environment, offer quality child protection services, PSS, and increase refugee/host community participation and engagement in child protection mechanisms. Based on children`s and adolescents` rights, SKUS has established quality learning and protection Centre with support from different international donors, including UN agencies.
∎ SKUS has an agreement with EDUCO Bangladesh for the project of `Humanitarian assistance to the children, adolescent, youth, and their families of Rohingya and Host Communities in Cox`s Bazar`.
∎ This program aims to ensure that crisis-affected populations have access to humanitarian assistance directly to children, youth, and communities through Child Protection and Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) activities.
∎ The project will address the children, adolescent, youth, and their families issues of currently residing in Rohingya Camp and nearby the camp areas in Ukhia Upazila under Cox`s Bazar District. SKUS is looking for a suitable candidate for the immediate appointment of a Project Coordinator for the project as mentioned above, supported by EDUCO.
∎ Reportable to: Chairman/ Chief Executive, SKUS.
∎ Duration of contract: 12 months Up to 31 December 2022.
∎ Job Location: Ukhiya, Cox`s Bazar
∎ Employment Status: Contractual

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Development of a strategic implementation plan based on impact logic, project objective, sub-objectives and Detail Implementation plan (DIP) of activity according to the approved application,
∎ Guide and support the project team to ensure effective project implementation reaching the targets according to the donor agreement.
∎ Ensure that the project's M&E system is in place and activity review takes place during regular intervals to assure the quality of the interventions and follows the implementation plans of the project.
∎ Ensure that work is planned and organized in a way which meets the needs of the beneficiaries in the most cost-effective manner possible.
∎ Maintenance and monitoring of project plans, project schedules, working hours
∎ Work closely with the finance department to ensure effective management of the project's budget. Monitor, evaluate and ensure that the project activities are consistent with plans, budget lines with full compliance to donor's regulations.
∎ Coordination with various stakeholders, including EDUCO , SKUS management level, local administration, local government, sectors, NGOs and regular participation in the sub-sector meeting, including coordination meetings as representatives of SKUS.
∎ Identify gaps in the workforce and organize appropriate training for staff and volunteers as required,
∎ Monitoring of project activities, monitoring of project staff and reporting,
∎ Conduct post-distribution Monitoring (PDM)
∎ Reporting to SKUS management, EDUCO, government and other stakeholders,
∎ Conflict management within the team and with other actors as required

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 26 to 50 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Skills :
∎ Highly developed relationship building, influencing, negotiating and inter-personal.
∎ Ability to analyze strategic trends and develop appropriate plans and responses to manage risks.
∎ Proven capacity to supervise, train, mentor and coach staff members
∎ Good communication skills both in written and spoken English
∎ Proven technical knowledge and skills in the field of Child Protection, NFI distribution.
∎ Sound experience of leading on the coordination and writing of donor reports.
∎ Excellent knowledge of English and Bengali required (spoken and written)
∎ Prior experience working in emergency settings or insecure environments and proven ability to work as part of a diverse team.
∎ Previous experience in a protection program in the Rohingya Response is highly desirable as well as sound knowledge of global guidelines of child protection.
∎ A strong commitment to PSEA, code of conduct, child safeguarding, gender-sensitive, inclusive and humanitarian works
∎ Ability to work with the multi-disciplinary team
∎ Flexibility to adapt to new roles, tasks, and situations

Salary:
∎ Tk. 70000 - 80000 (Monthly)
