∎ Proven experience in team leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement.Excellent analytical, reporting, and presentation skills.Strong understanding of project management methodologies and principles.
∎ Experience working with government agencies and local communities in Bangladesh in an asset.
∎ Practical knowledge and experiences on IEC/BCC materials development.
∎ Age limit maximum 55 years. Can be relaxed for the candidates with 3 years’ experience in food system, agro-ecology related project.
∎ Knowledge of safe production, climate change adaptation, water management, and agriculture in the context of Bangladesh.
∎ Have willingness to work at field level with farmers
∎ Fluency in English and Bengali languages is essential.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Provide overall leadership and management for The Green Evolution project implementation.
∎ Ensure overall coordination and communication between Welthungerhilfe and other project partner, local authority as well as Local Administration.§ Ensure overall collaboration, coordination and networking with different Govt organizations and Private sector organizations such as DAE, DLS, BOAN-BARI, BMD, CAB, University, BFSA.
∎ Ensure required technical assistance to field staff (Technical Experts & Field Officer) and community resource persons as and when needed for successful implementation of the programme.
∎ Develop and implement the project work plan, ensuring efficient and timely execution of activities.
∎ Contribute climate-resilient food systems for all people in the country based on agro-ecology.
∎ Oversee the performance of the WAVE-PMU team, including Communication and Advocacy Coordinator, Agroecology Expert, Finance & Admin Officer and Field Officers.
∎ Monitor and track project progress against objectives and indicators, identifying and addressing any challenges or deviations.
∎ Ensure efficient coordination with WHH & WAVE Management and other stakeholders.
∎ Liaise with relevant government agencies and local communities to facilitate project implementation.
∎ Prepare and submit regular progress reports, financial reports, and other required documents.
∎ Represent the project at meetings, workshops, and other events.
∎ Manage project budget and ensure sound financial management practices.
∎ Identify and implement strategies to ensure project sustainability beyond the project period.
∎ Perform any other duties assigned by WHH & WAVE Management.

∎ WAVE Foundation is a civil society organization established in 1990, has been implementing multifaceted activities for the socio economic development of the poor and marginalized as well as the establishment of universal human rights and good governance. Besides, the organization is conducting issue based policy advocacy and campaigns. WAVE is driven by its motto 'Together for Better Life’ towards the vision of establishing 'A just and Prosperous society’. WAVE has organized its activities into 6 programmes: 1) Poverty Eradication and Livelihood Development 2) Community Financing and Entrepreneurship Development 3) Agri-Food System Transformation 4) Governance, Rights and Justice 5) Social Development and Youth Empowerment 6) Climate Justice and Renewable Energy Promotion. WAVE Foundation is going to implement a four years (04) Global Programme ‘The Green Evolution: Pathways to Transforming Food Systems in India, Bangladesh and Nepal’, supported by Private German sponsor Deutsche Welthungerhilfe e.V. (WHH) at Singair Upazilla of Manikgonj District with the objective to strengthen local agroecological food systems through improved policy frameworks, operational structures and multi-stakeholder cooperation at all levels. The project aims to contribute climate-resilient food systems for all people in the country based on agro-ecology. The project intends to accomplish various activities i.e., the production, processing, distribution, preparation, and consumption of food, as well as the outcomes of these interactions in the fields of food and nutrition, socioeconomics, and the environment. For implementing the project WAVE Foundation is seeking qualified candidate for the position of the ‘Project Coordinator (PC)’ in it’s Project Management Unit (PMU) of this project.
∎ Job Summary
∎ The Project Coordinator will be overall responsible for the project and its effective management including planning, supervision, monitoring, evaluation, strategic discussions and issue-based decision making. The project coordinator will manage the overall project implementation and meets the donor’s compliance. He/she will supervise all the project staffs and ensure timely completion of all project activities within the framework of the project. He/She will also be responsible for finance and programme planning, liaison with Government, Non-govt and private sectors, conduct monthly, quarterly review meetings and joint field visits including reporting, documentation and case story writing. He/she will be responsible for coordinating the project at Upazila, District and National level. The project coordinator will coordinate and provide regular reports to Welthungerhilfe as per the requirements.

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Mobile phone and Travel allowance will be provided as per the project budgetary provision.
