Job Context:
∎ Samaj Kallayan O Unnayan Shangstha (SKUS) envisions a peaceful, prosperous, and poverty-free society that ensures everyone`s basic needs and rights. Since the 2017, SKUS has been working on Rohingya refugee influx in Cox`s Bazar district in the field of Education, health, Child protection, GBV, MHPSS and SRHR among the Children, adolescents, women, and men with support from different international donors, including UN agencies.
∎ Recently SKUS has signed an agreement with Plan International Bangladesh to implement a project lilted "Lifting Healthy, Empowered and Protected Girls and Women in Cox`s Bazar (LEAP)` at Rohingya Camps in Ukhia Upazila and the Host community of Ukhia Upazila under Cox`s Bazar District.. SKUS is looking for a suitable candidate for the immediate appointment of Project Coordination-LEAP for the project mentioned above supported by Plan International Bangladesh.

∎ The Project Coordinator is responsible to support smooth implementation of the Lifting Healthy, Empowered and Protected Girls and Women in Cox`s Bazar (LEAP) project. Plan International Bangladesh is the lead of this consortium project with HOPE Foundation for Women and Children of Bangladesh (HOPE), Partners in Health and Development (PHD), Samaj Kallyan O Unnayan Sangstha (SKUS), and Mukti Cox`s Bazar which funded by the Global Affairs Canada (GAC) and technical supported by Plan International Bangladesh. LEAP will employ a comprehensive, integrated programmatic approach by engaging a variety of stakeholders and facilitating gender- and adolescent-responsive and inclusive (GARI), Sextual and Reproductive Health and Right (SRHR), Sextual Gender Based Violence (SGBV) and Mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) services by strengthening government health systems, including establishing/strengthening referral linkages (from community to health facilities and between different sectors) to bring transformative change among the most at-risk adolescent girls and young women in host communities and camps. The Project Coordinator will lead the high-quality project implementation, coordination, collaboration and integration with others partner, shared learning and other activities with a focus on expanding capacity in inclusion, gender and safeguarding. S/he will be responsible for overall project management, reporting and linkages with Plan International Bangladesh and stakeholders and partner organizations (PHD, SKUS, Mukti Cox`s Bazar and HOPE Foundation).

∎ Duration: 26 Months (July 2022 to August 2024)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead and coordinate the project through maintaining project cycle management for achieve the project's goal, outcome, actions/activities and expected results which are specified in project proposal.
∎ Facilitate the development of the Project Implementation Plan (PIP) and overall responsibility for the leadership of implementation of project for SRHR & GBV, day to day management, coordination and oversight of the project implementation.
∎ Ensure that the project is appropriately staffed, including the appropriate combination of expertise across technical areas like SRHR & GBV and operational areas, building capacity where needed;
∎ Ensure timely, effective implementation and delivery of project activities as per project work plan by ensuring quality and set strategies and guidelines.
∎ Develop project plan & budget, program & training guideline and project reports and arranging different types of training/meetings/workshop/advocacy with Government officials and community stakeholders for capacity building.
∎ Ensure proper and smooth financial management in the project in compliance with Plan international Bangladesh and GAC policy and standards.
∎ Monitoring of the project funds are spending correctly and as per wok plan. Ensure Inventory management.
∎ Provide need-based support to Finance officer, provide leadership and support in problem solving, key decision making, quality control, technical input and advice as well as planning, executing, monitoring of the project activities.
∎ 70% time given to field for activity monitoring and provide supportive supervision when and as required for quality delivery of the activities.
∎ Supervise, monitor and evaluate the project work and performance of staff and take concrete steps to improve job performance
∎ Supportive supervision and monitoring of the activity of technical officer's (SRHR and GBV), finance officer and M&E Officer.
∎ Identify the development area of individual staffs, organizing formal/on the job training, orientation for Capacity building of the staff. Ensure training follow up, feedback, learning & reflection session and also adapt other tools and techniques for developing staff capacity building.
∎ Provide positive feedback on staff performance and project activities when appropriate.
∎ Organize and conduct regular monthly staff meetings. Ensure good relations with Plan International Bangladesh and other relevant stakeholders in the project locations.
∎ Maintain effective communication, coordination and collaboration with LEAP project partners and Plan International Bangladesh.
∎ Maintain effective communication, coordination and collaboration with GoB/NGOs officials like DC/UNO office, relevant government departments (Under Ministry of health & Family planning, MoWCA, MoSW and DSS), relevant NGOs etc.
∎ Participate in different meeting, training workshop organized by GoB, UN agencies, NGOs and other stakeholders.
∎ Produce presentation/briefings of field level data/information for the different visits made by Plan International, relevant Govt. officials and other stakeholders.
∎ Prepare some special report as and when required such as incident reports, harassment report and generate case story and success story etc.
∎ Participate in different studies i.e. baseline survey, mid-year survey, progress measurement survey and final evaluation etc. and other stakeholders' studies in this relevant field.
∎ Produce clear and quality project reports in English, prepare all events report, and monthly, quarterly and annual reports and submit to the line manager as well as Plan International as per reporting calendar and within deadlines.
Additional Requirements:

∎ At least 5 years' experience in the development field along with 3 years of experience in project management in the field of SRHR & GBV.
∎ Sound knowledge of project cycle management
∎ Excellent planning, analytical, organizational and decision-making skills

∎ Excellent communication skills including a high level of written and spoken in English
∎ Conversant in common IT applications (MS word, MS power point, internet browsing & e-mail communications)
