Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor/ Master's degree in Agriculture/Aquaculture/Social Science/Anthropology or a related field from a recognized University.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ We are looking for a person who has significant experience and can drive a project with smallholder fish farmers. This is a project which aims to use the power of technology to improve accessibility of smallholder fish farmers.
∎ Job Location: Dhaka with extensive travel to Bagerhat and Khulna

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Project Coordinator is expected to coordinate activities of the project field officers on designing and implementing a robust and effective operational policies and interventions for a digital market linkage program. The Project Coordinator will need to work collaboratively and constructively with FishBangla project team and its investor's team and also with different stakeholders. The candidate will report to Team Leader of the market linkage Program.
∎ THE BELOW ARE SOME OF THE SPECIFIC TASKS:
∎ Support stakeholder clients in developing and implementing project activities
∎ Support in developing regular reports on the project in the way that is relevant and accessible by the project stakeholders
∎ Carry out capacity building for field officers and other field representatives
∎ Support in drafting and disseminating various materials for research and reporting
∎ Support to conduct qualitative and quantitative research/assessments for situation analysis and strategy development

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years of professional working experience in development sector, specially working with smallholder fish farmers or farmers.
∎ Candidates with outstanding academic achievements and eagerness to work in fields with less work experience can also be considered.
∎ Knowledge and experience in post- fish harvest management will be an added advantage.
∎ Proven track record of relating technical and social solution in fisheries or in agriculture or in ecommerce.
∎ Creative, practical and systematic professional
∎ Evidence of producing knowledge products (publications and other).
∎ Flexibility to handle varied and demanding tasks and ability to balance priorities, thrive under pressure and juggle a multitude of details in a fast-paced environment
∎ Ability to work independently, as well as member of a team, and to be flexible to accommodate the needs of stakeholders.
∎ Ability to lead the assignment and the team with remote supervision.
∎ Good verbal and written communication skills both in English and Bangla
