Job Context:
∎ Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is a non-government development organization founded in 1958 by Khan BahadurAhsanullah, an eminent educationist, reformer and Sufi with the aim of social and spiritual development of entire human community. DAM has been contributing for the betterment of the disadvantaged population through operating 35 institutions and also 8 sectors of development. Health Sector is one of the core sectors of DAM which has also been operating 9 institutions and 14 donor funded projects.
∎ DAM Health & WASH Sector is going to recruit a competent and self-motivated individual for the position of Project Coordinator of its UNFPA and UNAIDS supported project titled “Integrated SRHR & HIV Prevention and Services Intervention for Brothel Based Female Sex Workers” covering six districts namely Rajbabri, Khulna, Jashore, Jamalpur, Faridpur and Potuakhali. It’s a Dhaka based position which will act as the focal of field operation.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Plan, organize and implement project activity to achieve the expected results;
∎ Ensure high quality service delivery based on the approved annual work plan through analyzing the performance, developing micro plan and guiding and supporting team for quality execution;
∎ Build good rapport with the GO/NGOs and other stakeholders to ensure support services towards female sex workers which are not available at Sukhpakhi Centers; maintain functional networking and liaison with the local stakeholders.
∎ Put HIV and SRHR as agenda of local level coordination meeting and ensure regular participation of CBO lead and medical assistants e.g. DC office coordination meeting, CS office coordination meeting, UH&FPO office meeting, etc.
∎ Conduct/assist in analyzing local stakeholders’ and prepare plan for regular/periodic sensitization and advocacy events;
∎ Conduct regular monitoring of activities and supportive supervision to the team members for ensuring highest quality HIV prevention and SRH service delivery
∎ Conduct weekly/monthly meeting with the team members to know about the program performances and difficulties to address
∎ Pay monitoring visits at brothels and conduct exit interview with the beneficiaries to ensure high quality service
∎ Review reports, records and physical verification of all stocks and provide feedback
∎ Analyze center performance and make team understand about the next steps/work plan and ensure continuous support to achieve result
∎ Ensure use of monitoring checklist during paying monitoring visit
∎ Ensure targeting the targets if there found positive case or getting STI cases high
∎ Oversee overall PSM activities and its quality execution and ensure support accordingly as require
∎ Oversee appropriate Sukhpakhi center branding and ensure support accordingly as require
∎ Ensure compliance issues as monthly meeting agenda e.g. child safeguarding policy, terrorist financing, sex trafficking, PSEA, etc. and keep evidence of discussion in the meeting minutes
∎ Assist Joint Director to explore areas for further capacity building of Sukhpakhi centers and CBO leaders, change agents, and provide on-the-job training;
∎ Conduct/coordinate training/orientation for the change agents, medical assistants, CBO leaders as necessary and do follow up of training outcomes
∎ Ensure participation of team members based upon having training/workshop invitation from donor representative
∎ Coordinate change agents/ guard/ayahs/cleaners, etc. following the HR policy of SR/SSRs
∎ Conduct skill mapping of ShukhPakhi Center team members and ensure annual performance appraisal
∎ Initiate and orient safe guarding policies (e.g. code of conduct, child safety guarding, PSEA, etc.) to all newly joined center staff and keep records
∎ Facilitate individual monthly work plan development and coordinate activities
∎ Prepare and facilitate implementation as per event plan and monthly work plan
∎ Maintain/ensure accurate record keeping of various activities using prescribed forms, formats and registers
∎ Prepare/assist in regular and periodic report generation in coordination with MIS and Documentation officer
∎ Ensure attendance register is signed by each SukhPakhi Center staff daily
∎ Maintain rules and regulations applicable at SukhPakhi Center level including DAM’s PSEA and other safe guarding policy
∎ Report to safeguarding focal person for any allegation or concerns on the violation of the safe guarding policy in relation to project staffs, organizational staffs, vendors and volunteers is raised.
∎ Support Safe Guarding Focal in relevant awareness building training/orientation as well as cooperate and support for establishing the safe guarding mechanism with the organization and project.
∎ Initiate files for approval relevant to project activities

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age no more than 45 years.
∎ Experience 3 years of working in Sexual reproductive health and HIV prevention.
∎ Significant exposure and experience of successfully working and managing CBO led programs
∎ Proven ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and work with limited supervision
∎ Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to establish effective working relations at all levels
∎ Demonstrated skills in financial management – with knowledge and experience in managing complex budgets and ensuring financial compliance
∎ Experience in successfully managing various forms of stakeholders, including local level health, protection and social safety net authorities
∎ Good in written and spoken English.
∎ A dynamic and flexible individual with ability to multitask and who can work under pressure
∎ Team player
∎ Strong budget management abilities
∎ Good communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Excellent Microsoft word and Microsoft excel power-point presentation skills.
∎ Willingness to travel to insecure areas within the constraints of DAM’s security policy.
∎ Applicants must have COVID 19 vaccination certificate.

Salary:
∎ Tk. 50000 (Monthly)
∎ Other admissible benefits will be provided as per organizational policy and project fund availability
