Educational Requirements:

Job Context:
∎ Type of Contract: Fixed Term Contract
∎ Contract Duration: Up to 28 Feb 2021
∎ Duty Station: Dhaka with frequent field visit to the project sites

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensuring that as per the Project Implementation plan the project is delivered timely and effectively to ensure sustainability of the project interventions with high standards.
∎ Facilitating effective coordination and joint planning between the partners and other key stakeholders towards achieving objective and specific results outlined in the project documents.
∎ Ensuring that work is planned and organised in a way which will meet the needs of the people engaged in the Resilience project in the most cost effective manner possible; ensuring that team members are given appropriate workloads and are working efficiently.
∎ Ensuring budgets and financial resource planning are in place for all activities within the Resilience project and develop new project designs to meet the future requirements
∎ Ensuring timely production of quality reports for donors and Senior Management on project outcomes.
∎ Ensuring the mainstreaming issues of CCA and DRR, Programme is addressed within project activities.
∎ Ensuring that the project M&E system in place and activity review take place with a systematic way for visualising the project progress.
∎ Contribute to the process of implementing quality programmes by ensure that the Core Humanitarian Standard on Quality and Accountability are effectively implemented throughout the organisation, and at the country programme level.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Worked for a minimum of 07 years in a national or an international organisation in the area of ecology, environment and humanitarian assistance with a focus on Climate change and Disaster Risk Reduction. Familiarity with relevant policies and working experience with coastal context will be an added advantage.
∎ At least 7 years progressively responsible professional work experience in participatory programme planning, management, monitoring, and evaluation, within a development organisation/NGO.
∎ Experience of managing financial resources and budgets.
∎ Significant experience of project planning, monitoring, evaluation and developing proposals
∎ Previous Experiences and Technical Knowledge on Climate Change Adaptation and Disaster risk reduction Programme.
∎ Strong programmatic and operational experiences in leading multi-theme development programme for coastal people.
∎ Experience in managing partner NGOs and engaging with institutions and private sector for linkage.
∎ Representing an organisation at high level forums/networks in a professional and sensitive manner.
