∎ • Minimum of 5 years of experiences in project coordination in all aspects of project cycle management.
∎ • Previous experience of working with partner organizations.
∎ • Adequate knowledge of Project Monitoring, Outcome harvesting, documentation, project reporting and writing human interest stories.
∎ • Experience of identifying training needs, designing and conducting training, mentorship and coaching support for staff members of partner organizations.
∎ • Has an understanding about human rights, marginalization, exclusion, disability inclusion, rural development, health system in rural & urban locations.
∎ • Adequate knowledge of signs of developmental delays in children, functional limitations, sign of impairment.
∎ • Previous experience of working with children with disabilities and their families.
∎ • Experience on mobilization of families of children with disabilities or other marginalized communities and facilitating formation and development of community groups.
∎ • Knowledge of accessibility and reasonable accommodation.
∎ • Experience of team motivation and generating results
∎ • Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
∎ • Very good level of spoken and written English
∎ • Excellent level of computer literacy
∎ • Ability to work independently and in a team

∎ The Centre for Disability in Development (CDD) is a not for profit organization established in 1996 to develop a more inclusive society for persons with disabilities. CDD simultaneously builds technical capacities of the development stakeholders and the communities in how to be more inclusive whilst also enabling persons with a disability to participate in society by strengthening their leadership and providing them with essential rehabilitation and other supports.
∎ CDD is one of the most renowned organizations in the field of disability-inclusive development. CDD’s work in Bangladesh is supported by international and national donor agencies/development partners. CDD offers an inclusive, amicable, and respectable work environment.
∎ The Ramon Magsaysay Award (Asian version of the Noble prize) has been awarded to its Executive Director in 2010. In 2018, CDD was recognized by the Government of Bangladesh as one of the best organizations working on disability and development issues.
∎ CDD is accepting application for the position of ‘Project Coordinator’ under a project named ‘Strengthening Early Identification & Early Intervention for the Children with Disabilities’ to be implemented with the support of Liliane Foundation (LF). The project coordinator will be responsible for building staff and partners capacity and network with all stakeholders and like-minded organization for effective and result orientated program. The Project Coordinator will work closely with the Program Manager, team members, partner organizations and relevant stakeholders to ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all parties involved. Project Coordinator will be the point of contact for the project team, providing updates, addressing concerns, and facilitating communication. The duration of the project is till 31st December 2029.
∎ The selected candidate will initially be hired for a three-month probationary period. Upon successful completion of this period, his/her employment contract will be renewed on an annual basis.

∎ Project-specific Responsibilities:
∎ • Ensure project activities at field level are properly planned, indicating all required resources, and implemented to a high standard
∎ • Work closely with PO level project officers to ensure projects are executed according to plan meeting all requirements.
∎ • Work closely with the POs to ensure technical support to the POs in the areas of early identification of developmental delays, functional limitations & impairments of children up to 12 years, facilitation of parents/carers groups, networking & referral linkages, accessibility, reasonable accommodation, adaptation, livelihood support, rehab support and assistive devices.
∎ • Support the project team by coordinating meetings, maintaining project schedules, tracking progress, and providing status updates.
∎ • Facilitate communication between project team members, stakeholders, and partners to ensure project success.
∎ • Identify and resolve issues and risks that may impact project timelines or outcomes.
∎ • Ensure project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and readily available to all relevant parties.
∎ • Assist in the development of project budgets and financial reports, monitoring expenses, and reporting variances.
∎ • To ensure regular and effective project monitoring takes place to collect relevant data or information and develop reports.
∎ • Facilitate smooth networking, relationships, participation, communication and transparency with wide stakeholders such as local partners, government, OPDs, and other key partners at local level for joint project implementation and quality delivery.
∎ Safeguarding Responsibilities:
∎ • Adhere to CDD's Children and Adults at Risk Safeguarding policy, ensuring the safety and well-being of all project participants.
∎ • Promote a safe and secure environment for all participants and stakeholders of the project.
∎ • Report any safeguarding concerns promptly and follow the designated reporting procedures.
∎ Additional responsibilities:
∎ • Perform any other responsibility/ special duty delegated by project and CDD management.
