∎ Master of Social Science (MSS) in Social Science
∎ Master's Degree in Social Science or other relevant disciplines. But educational qualifications will be relaxed for the over experienced applicants.

∎ Knowledge in community development, ability to work under timeline, facilitating participatory training, conducting the workshop, brainstorming sessions, focus group discussions, simulation, seminars, meetings, strong interpersonal skills, team-building capacity, problem-solving skills.
∎ Good writing and speaking skills in English and Bangla.
∎ Must have computer skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
∎ Experience to drive Motorcycle and have valid motorcycle driving license.
∎ Working Experience: Must have at least 5 years of experience in equivalent position of the relevant Filed.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Coordinate to conduct baseline and end-line study and Service mapping,
∎ Organize and facilitate capacity building training for the project staffs,
∎ Organize and facilitate capacity building events, dialogue, sharing meeting with the government authorities and relevant stakeholders,
∎ Ensure all child protection concerns identified are communicated in timely manner for response to the Case Management Coordinator.
∎ Represent the organization in the community and to community leaders and actors, collaborating with other sectors.
∎ Assist program staffs in planning, implementing and review of project activities, ensuring adherence to technical standards, learning, and good practices.
∎ Responsible for strengthening sustainable child protection through community engagement and structures.
∎ Lead in the establishment and running of CBCPCs together with all staff monthly meetings are taking place and minutes are documented.
∎ Manage and deliver trainings for CBCPCs & Children and Youth groups
∎ Oversee awareness raising activities, including the development of key messages, session plans and monitoring activities.
∎ Ensure the effective running of child and youth groups.
∎ Experienced in organizing and facilitating trainings, workshops and meetings with government officials and community peoples.
∎ Strengthening and coordination mechanism with relevant stakeholders and Govt. Offices.
∎ Supervise all staff and other relevant actors on the identification, assessment, documentation, case planning, service provision and referral (to relevant services) and follow-up of at-risk children and families.
∎ Support outreach and awareness raising activities to identify vulnerable children
∎ Support the development of appropriate child protection information materials.
∎ Support the respective project officials (Program focal of the organizational, Project Co-ordiator and other officials) in the ongoing capacity building of all staff of the project.
∎ Oversee to ensure emergency need-based support to the vulnerable children through referral.
∎ Share information on field-level successes and challenges with the supervisor.
∎ Ensure that major challenges are flagged early, and addressed in an appropriate way.
∎ Support on and keep up-to-date a map of existing services to which children and families can be referred to. Build collaborative relationships with organisation and service providers at the field level and support all staff to ensure effective referrals and collaboration.
∎ Work in close collaboration with CBCPC member, Community influencials and LEBs to strengthen our relationship with the community and to strengthen the referral system.
∎ Ensure internal referral mechanisms (with other sectors) are in place and cases are appropriately managed and followed up when referred
∎ Ensure constant and transparent communication and collaboration with relevant stakeholders, including community members, community leaders and families.
∎ Ensure that all staff respect confidentiality and follow ethical guidelines.
∎ Ensure that files, registers and computer databases are used in an appropriate and correct manner and ensure Community Social Worker adhere to Information Sharing and Data Protection Protocol
∎ Ensure accurate case files are completed and that case management forms are utilised appropriately
∎ Work closely with the monitoring and evaluation team, provide support to develop and implement appropriate monitoring, evaluation and learning systems for child protection interventions, ensure links to report requirements.
∎ Provide timely and quality inputs to meet reporting requirements and timeline.
∎ Support in preparing quality and timely reports for donors and Senior Management with relevant materials.
∎ Ensure good practices are captured, documented and disseminated at project level and thematic programme level.
∎ Prepare monthly report, quarterly report, half yearly report and annual report.

The organization works to establish child rights, prevent child abuse and child sexual abuse, prevent child marriage, accelerate child-friendly good governance, improve the quality of education at the primary and pre-primary level, prevent violence against women, empowering children and women. The organization is implementing a project named ‘Strengthen Children Of RMG worker’s Protection and Education rights (SCOPE) at Mirpur and Savar in Dhaka District. The project is implemented by BTS and the support of ‘Save the Children International.’ BTS is going to recruit the ‘Project Coordinator’ for the mentioned project and the position’s desk office will be at Dhaka.

∎ Project Name: Strengthen Children Of RMG worker’s Protection and Education rights (SCOPE)
∎
∎ Job Description / Responsibilities:
∎ The Project Coordinator is the responsible for Child Protection including supervising and supporting the quality implementation of activities related to community-based child protection in the project area. He or she is responsible for managing or leading all activities with children and Youth groups, Community Based Child Protection Committees (CBCPCs) and other community people under the supervision of the respective line managers.

∎ KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

∎ The project Coordinator position is the overall responsible to prepare detailed planning and budgeting of project activities and implement as per plan and ensure the quality of the project activities by providing technical and supervisory support. Particularly the responsibilities are-

∎ Tenure of Services Contract:
∎ 3 (Three) months probation period. After successful completion of the probation period, based on the performance of the staff and recommendation from the supervisor, the post may be continued till the project’s lifetime.
