Job Context:
∎ Breaking the Silence (BTS) is a Child base organization established by a committed group activist to combat sexual abuse of children in Bangladesh since 1984. Child sexual abuse is a very delicate issue in the Bangladeshi context with very less exposure, but it is probably the most traumatizing event a child had ever experienced. This activist group has initiated an issue to address which directly affecting many children in our society in a very subtle manner.
∎ Breaking the Silence to implement the Children are Protected from Violence (CPFV) project in Dhaka & Sreemangal Upzilla which is funded by Save the Children. The project contributes to protect children from violence and to reducing the vulnerability to the adverse consequences of violence.
∎ For smooth operation the project Breaking the Silence (BTS) is seeking the qualified staff according to the following.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Project Planning & Monitoring:
∎ Detailed planning and budgeting of project activities.
∎ Planning for monitoring evaluation and documentation of the project.
∎ Development and replication of models.
∎ Coordination & Communication:
∎ Coordination, liaison & networking with partners, government representative, local elected bodies, national and international NGO and other actors.
∎ Lead local and national level advocacy process.
∎ Linkage with multi stakeholders for referral mechanism.
∎ Regular visit at project sites/ location, assist program staffs in planning, implementing and review of project activities, ensuring adherence to technical standards, learning and good practice.
∎ Capacity Building.
∎ Staff capacity development.
∎ Capacity develop of constituents.
∎ Finance and Administrative:
∎ Maintain compliance, rules and regulations (financial and administration) of partner and organization.
∎ Support to Accounts and Admin section in financial visit / audit.
∎ Monitoring and Evaluation:
∎ Develop tools and ensure proper use of those for M&E.
∎ Follow up the M&E observation.
∎ Coordination of baseline, midterm and final evaluation process.
∎ Ensure that all components of the project are mentioned and the result are evaluated in line with the indicators.
∎ Reporting and Documentation.
∎ Finalize monthly, quarterly, half annual, annual and project completion report of the project.
∎ Ensure the quality of process and learning documentation.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Proven experience in program planning, implementation, budgeting, financial management, report writing, monitoring & evaluation.
∎ Excellent verbal written communication skill in English and Bangla.
∎ Computer skill on MS office, Internet application a database management.
∎ Must have excellent communication skill in both oral & written English. Knowledge in Bengali type writing will be added as the advantage.
∎ After completion of recruitment process, immediately joining is preferable.
Salary: Tk. 36000 (Monthly)
