Job Context:
∎ Ambala Foundation a non-government organization has been working to improve the livelihood of poor and marginalized communities of Bangladesh through increasing their voices, capacities and realization of their rights. Ambala Foundation was awarded a three year project from January 2019 to December 2021 by Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF) with financial assistance from DFID. This project will promote the rights of 13100 fisher community people of Gopalgonj district by engaging civil society, government duty bearers and other relevant stakeholders.
∎ Job Location: Kotalipara, Gopalgonj

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Project Coordinator will be responsible for supervision, Monitoring & evaluation of the project. She /He will be the key person for implementing the project along with planning, reporting, staff appraisal, developing strategies, tools and techniques. Coordinator will do coordination with management, media and local / national level policy advocacy and will do liaison with donor representatives, and with different govt. office.
∎ She/ He will be capable and efficient of cohesive Team Building, Leadership, Motivation, Participatory Management, Geographic Location Analysis, Stakeholder Analysis, Monitoring and Evaluation, PRA, RBA etc.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Job experience at least 5 years in project management preferably in Human Rights project.
∎ Priority will be given to the candidates who have experience in working with Fisher Community People.
∎ Good Knowledge of humanitarian contexts.
∎ Keep strong coordination with other implementing agencies, donors and local governmental authorities at field level.
∎ Excellent computer skills.
∎ Good in English.
∎ Willingness to visit field frequently.
∎ Ability to establish collaborative relationships with staff, beneficiaries and other stakeholders.
∎ Strong attitude to take initiative and achieve results effectively.
∎ Experience on use of various type monitoring tools for impact assessment.
∎ Willing to drive motor cycle and should have valid driving license.

Salary:
∎ BDT.40,000/- plus other benefits according to the policy.
