Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters/Bachelor Degree in Social Science/Economics from any reputed university.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Implement division and district levels interventions under the guidance of the head of program of WAVE Foundation;
∎ Facilitate the processes of planning and budgeting of different project interventions;
∎ Contact and coordinate with civil society representatives, young people, civil society organizations, policy actors, NBR representatives and also media;
∎ Organize different training, awareness campaign and community orientation on taxation at division and district level;
∎ Maintain a digital space for strengthening the conversation among citizens on taxation and tax justice;
∎ Provide strategic input for donor reports, talking points, presentations and other knowledge and communication products;
∎ Monitoring at regular intervals and identify learning and best practices;
∎ Carry out necessary documentation as well as qualitative and quantitative report development both in English and Bangla.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ At least 3 year(s) of working experiences in general, and particularly 2 years of working experiences on implementing of capacity building, advocacy and campaign related projects or interventions. Having experiences on taxation system of Bangladesh will be treated as advance level qualification.
∎ Age around 35 years and relaxed for qualified candidates
∎ Good report writing and documentation skill
∎ Writing and speaking efficiency in both English and Bangla
∎ Good understanding on taxation system of Bangladesh and tax justice
∎ Sound background in MS Office and internet browsing
∎ Sound knowledge and skill on using different communication media
∎ Hard working and self-motivated
∎ Job Location: Dhaka with frequent field visit.
Salary:
∎ Tk. 30000 (Monthly)
∎ BDT 30,000.00 (monthly) with a festival bonus equivalent of 01-month salary
Other facilities will be admissible as per the project budgetary provision.
