Job Context:
∎ The Danish Refugee Council (DRC), one of the world`s leading NGOs, with a focus on responding to displacement, have been registered in Bangladesh since 2013. In 2017, in response to the Rohingya influx, DRC launched an integrated program of support to the government in site management, shelter/NFI and protection. In 2018, DRC started implementing aid projects in support of the host communities most affected by the influx of refugees. As a key part of this, DRC opened a main office in Cox`s Bazar, and a support/liaison office in Dhaka.
∎ POSITION PROFILE: To provide programme administration support and grants management support in compliance with DRC`s and local guidelines and procedures.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Programme Support (40%)
∎ Support Head of Programmes and Programmes Manager in administrative management of the programme team in Cox Bazaar
∎ Manage day to day administration of the programme team - including compilation of the monthly sit-rep
∎ Compile project application and reporting to authorities (FD6/FD7) and work with Programme Liaison Specialist and Government Liaison Coordinator to ensure all documentation is inline with government regulations
∎ Compile programme documents and reports to Camp in Charge, donors and other key personnel as required
∎ Grants Support (60%)
∎ In coordination with the Grants Coordinator,
∎ Support in ensuring the DRC grants management system is timely and fully updated. This will include updating project cards, milestones, instalments, documents, status, and correcting discrepancies while supporting with the updating of an internal funding tracker, reporting deadlines, to be shared regularly with key staff.
∎ Maintain and regularly update hard files for all ongoing DRC projects and assist in the coordination and preparation of project documents.
∎ Participate in and take minutes of grant opening meetings, review and close out meetings for each project.
∎ Support proposal development processes where and if needed and contribute to proposals
∎ Support the facilitation of quality narrative reports, reflecting the progress and status of projects in a transparent, timely and professional manner
∎ Liaise with Programme Manager when preparing reports, especially with finance to ensure greater coherence between financial and narrative reports by crosschecking the matching of data in the narrative and financial reports;
∎ As requested, support with communication and visibility tools and publications, their dissemination and availability to DRC teams and donors.
∎ Maintain thorough knowledge of all DRC grant contracts to ensure understanding of contractual obligations and regulations.
∎ Contribute to addressing in a timely manner all comments by donors on proposals or reports.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 2 year of relevant experience in programme administration, grants/contracting, reporting, or in a similar office role with a national or international NGO
∎ Excellent skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
