Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Prepare work plan and take initiatives for implementing activities according to that plan.
∎ Create awareness of the students and community people about using of safe water, hygienic latrine and practice of safe hygienic behavior.
∎ Supervise installation of piped water supply, handwashing stations, water treatment plant and hygienic latrines in schools.
∎ Conduct hygiene education session in primary, secondary school and madrasah and cluster meeting with different groups of people regularly.
∎ Build linkage between mason, driller, hardware shops, schools and community people.
∎ Organize training, meeting, advocacy workshop and different forums at upazila level.
∎ Maintain liaison with local administration, local government and non-government officials at upazila level.
∎ Prepare monthly report and sent to respective supervisor. Safeguarding Responsibilities
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
