∎ Age at least 32 years
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Prepare annual/quarterly/monthly work plan and take initiatives for implementing activities according to that plan.·
∎ Analyze the WASH situation at schools and communities, mobilize them school authority and community people on awareness raising, installation and proper O&M of WASH facilities.
∎ Create awareness of the students and community people about using of safe water, hygienic latrine and practice of safe hygienic behavior.
∎ Support in procurement and distribution of quality materials, follow-up and monitoring the construction quality of WASH facilities at school and community (installation of piped water supply, handwashing stations, water treatment plant and hygienic latrines, etc.).
∎ Conduct hygiene education session in primary, secondary school and madrasah and cluster meeting with different groups of people regularly.
∎ Build linkage between entrepreneurs, mason, driller, hardware shops, schools and community people.
∎ Organize training and orientation for different stakeholders/participants such as student brigade, caretakers, entrepreneurs, WASH committees, etc.
∎ Organize and participate meeting, advocacy workshop and different forums at district, upazila and union level and maintain liaison with local administration, local government and non-government officials at upazila level.
∎ Conduct regular follow-up and monitoring of the field level activities, data collection and prepare monthly report and sent to respective supervisor.SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so
