Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's/Bachelor's in any discipline from any recognised university with minimum 2nd division/class or equivalent GPA/CGPA in all academic examinations.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Implementation of the 'Empowering the RMG workers living in urban slums of Dhaka' project's interventions at the field level as front line staff.
∎ Organise field level events as per guideline to achieve project goals, objectives and outcomes.
∎ Maintain strong communication and networking with RMG factory officials for implementing activities within the factory and linked with RMG workers.
∎ Maintain strong relation with house owners of nearby slums where RMG workers are living to mobilise and ensure services from OSSC.
∎ Maintain documentation of implemented project activities and preparation of monthly, half-yearly and yearly report.
∎ Assist in organising training, workshops and other events at field level according to target plan.
∎ Coordinate activities of online data base, DPS + health insurance and Maya Apa App.
∎ Provide support to staff from other BRAC Programmes, technical team, research team, knowledge management and M&E department of 'Empowering the RMG workers living in urban slums of Dhaka' in the field for effective implementation.
∎ Create working relationship with local labor organisations, service providers etc.
∎ Liaison with local government institutions, local law enforcement agencies for proper implementation of the project activities.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Substantial experience in operations management in the urban areas
∎ Experience of working with RMG workers and implementing pilot, large and complex projects successfully
∎ Competence in analysing the social and gender dynamics within urban set up
∎ Community organising and social mobilisation
∎ Excellent communication, presentation, organising and negotiation skills
∎ Skills in documentation, facilitation and reporting
∎ Awareness of political processes and protocols
∎ Should be adaptable, creative, motivated and flexible
