Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelors/ Masters in any discipline from any recognised university/ institutions with minimum second class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in all academic examinations

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Execute the implementation of UDP's interventions at the field level as front line staff
∎ Follow up community organisers to ensure strong community mobilisation and collective actions by community groups
∎ Maintain strong communication and networking with local government officials for implementing social accountability initiatives
∎ Follow up field level implementation in allocated district/ city under UDP coverage
∎ Maintain documentation and prepare monthly MIS report and use monitoring data to solve performance issues
∎ Assist in organising training, workshops and different events at the field level according to annual targets
∎ Provide support to the technical department & research, knowledge management & M&E department of UDP in the field for effective urban interventions
∎ Conduct special refreshers for the CO's at regular intervals
∎ Identify and assist in organising capacity development trainings/ workshops for the community organisers
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 1 year relevant experience is required
∎ Demonstrated ability to successfully manage large scale and complex projects.
∎ Have knowledge on current national and global development trends related to urban poverty and urban development.
∎ Have skills on community organising and social mobilisation.
∎ Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
∎ Strong analytical skills and possess a proven track record of working successfully in a variety of cultural contexts
∎ Awareness of political processes and protocols
