Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Resource Integration Centre (RIC) is a national NGO since 1981 in Bangladesh. RIC is implementing “Improved income security through strengthened intergenerational groups for older people in Bangladesh (ISIGOP)” funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), Federal Republic of Germany (FRG), Bangladesh in Pirojpur (Sadar), Narsingdhi (Sadar and Palash), Dhaka (Khilgaon) for the period from August’ 2024 – March’ 2026. RIC is seeking applications from potential candidates.
∎ Major Responsibilities: Supporting the Project Coordinator with information, procurement, and preparation of reports as well as technical support in certain areas such as training or communication/education, Content development & prepress work for publication, documentation, and filing. Event Coordination, Facilitating, and preparing detailed reports on project progress, outcomes, and impact. Ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date and assist in researching relevant policies- UPML, practices, and issues to inform advocacy strategies and project activities. Support and Conduct survey operations in the programme.
∎ Academic Qualifications: Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Policy, or any relevant field.
∎ Experience and Other requirements: At least 5-7 years of experience in project management, preferably within advocacy or development, experience working with Older People organizations on Ageing issues will be preferred, Demonstrated interpersonal and negotiation skills. Proficiency in project management.
