Additional Requirements:
∎ A confident, motivated and self-organized feminist research professional with proven background of working on similar context. Th Programme Officer - Research should have experience and training in gender justice work, feminist research, women economic empowerment, skill development, digitalization, quantitative research design, survey, and analysis; preferably in social research organization, development agency, NGO/INGO as well academic/professional experience related to informal women workers, workers' rights, related policy analysis, domestic and gender-based violence, sexual violence, agency building and community mobilization. The post holder should also have experience on MEAL designing, planning, executing, partner-led learning and reflection sessions periodically to track programmatic impact and experience of developing digital/ electronical data collection tools and techniques as well as data analysis (using SPSS, STATA, Excel, NVivo) of monitoring, evaluation and research outcomes and outputs. Experience with Readymade Garments (RMG) sector will be an advantage. The person should have a demonstrated knowledge of the root causes of inequality and injustice that leads to poverty in Bangladesh, especially the marginalized urban women informal workers communities who often face gender-based discrimination and violence as well good understanding of national and international policies and practice related to labour rights and informal sector. Additionally, the person should have sound verbal and written communication skills in both Bangla and English.
