Job Context:
∎ NETZ Partnership for Development and Justice is an international organisation based in Bangladesh and Germany. NETZ seeks to hire a new colleague for the position of Programme Officer, PME. The incumbent is expected to play a pivotal role in further developing the PME and knowledge management system. The NETZ Bangladesh Office team is responsible for the partnership management with local and national NGOs to empower marginalised communities. The Officer PME will be based in Dhaka and is reportable to the PME Manager.
∎ Major role: The major role of the Programme Officer, PME is to ensure the further development and management of the PME and the knowledge management system and by this contributing to enhancement of the relevance, coherence, effectiveness, efficiency, impact and sustainability of the projects supported by NETZ. Furthermore, the Officer PME shall coordinate the conduction of studies under the NETZ sector programmes for contributing to the project and programme designs as well as for supporting policy dialogue initiatives.
∎ Job Location: Dhaka with frequent field visits in Bangladesh.
