∎ At least 5 year(s)

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years of experience on Humanitarian Capacity Building, Localisation advocacy, humanitarian response/ development with International NGOs having post-graduation in the relevant subject
∎ Leadership and self-management ability
∎ Ability to mainstream and promote localization/ Local Humanitarian Leadership across the programme implementation
∎ Conceptual, critical, and analytical thinking
∎ Initiative, drive to achieve results, ability to develop effective relationships with others
∎ Ability to work effectively with others, adaptable and flexible
∎ Partnership management and project monitoring & evaluation competencies
∎ Strong ability to rapidly assimilate, analyses and report on complex information and proven conceptual and policy advocacy skills
∎ Mature understanding of issues in capacity building, local Humanitarian Leadership, Localization both at community and institutional level with the ability to influence others to mainstream localization
∎ Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure and to meet the deadlines, sometimes in situations of stress and uncertainty
∎ Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work sensitively with people from various cultural and social backgrounds
∎ Willing and able to travel frequently for extended periods to the remote areas
∎ Computer literate (MS word, Power Point and Excel)
∎ Strong understanding of gender equality, safeguarding, partnership issues and experience in integrating these into programme practice
∎ Ability to work with different creed, culture, and ethnicity
∎ Sympathy with the values, aims and objectives of Oxfam.
