Educational Requirements:
∎ Holding a Master's degree in any a social science discipline or relevant professional degree preferably with post-graduation
Job Context:
∎ BHW is now recruiting for the following positions to set up a full- fledged Secretariat to implement the regular activities of BHW and implement project activities revolving around research, high level advocacy with policy makers and programme planners, development partners and civil society partners. It is an exciting innovative project, based at JPGSPH and offering excellent working environment. All positions carry excellent benefits.
∎ Only individuals working at senior mid-level should apply.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To develop contents for press releases, newspaper articles, based on research/reviews
∎ To develop content for social media- facebook and Instagram pages/tweets/blogs etc.
∎ To ensure that research reports are appropriately made available to interested quarters
∎ To develop contents for BHW website
∎ To carry out desk review as and when necessary
∎ To participate in research activities
∎ To collect and review relevant documents for various advocacy initiatives
∎ To scan newspapers and news sites for reports on health related matters
∎ To contribute to development of communication materials
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years of experience in working at senior mid-level
∎ Familiar with the health sector of Bangladesh
∎ Excellent writing skills, both English and Bangla
∎ Strong capacity of content development
∎ Demonstrable capacity to work on several fronts and with several agencies in parallel
∎ Self-starter and able to priorities
∎ Person of high integrity and resilience
