Education:
Fresh graduate in Psychology, Sociology, Occupational Therapy, Development Studies, Economic from any reputed university.
Master’s degree will be preferred.
Graduation year must be 2018 or onward.
Minimum Second Class or CGPA 3 or higher in graduation.
Skills & Experience:
Candidates should be able to work outside Dhaka
Should be able to engage in fieldwork with urban poor communities
Female candidates are highly preferred.
Major Job Responsibility:
Support urban extreme poor individuals and households using a Case Management approach.
Documentation and Debriefing.
Communication, Coordination & Networking.
Specific Job Responsibilities:
1. Support urban extreme poor individuals and households using a Case Management approach
Conduct a range of assessments in alignment with the SOP of the Urban Extreme Poor Program.
Conduct referrals and support urban extreme poor community members to access timely and appropriate services (eg. physical and mental health services, livelihood, education, legal and social support etc.) in alignment with program SOP and guidance from manager.
Develop client centered action plans and timely ongoing goal setting and reviews.
Provide quality and inclusive client centered case management support of individuals and households in accordance with program guidelines and values statement.
Apply the objectives and best practice tools utilized by the project to inform service provision and engagement process.
Conduct outreach visits to current and potential intervention sites.
Attending community meetings and encourage engagement from more vulnerable community members.
Conduct a range of community and small group sessions/workshops to develop skills and knowledge.
Engage in ‘follow-up’ activities with individuals and households who have disconnected from services in alignment with program SOP.
2. Documentation and Debriefing
Ensure accurate, professional and timely maintenance of individual, household and community level records and data collection in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
Engage in regular debriefing/supervision sessions with manager and key program staff.
Engage in monthly review meetings.
3. Communication and Coordination
Develop and foster relationships with relevant services and agencies – these include local leaders, ward councilor, law enforcement agency, local health, education and livelihood service providers.
Attend relevant meetings and workshops as agreed with Manager.
Maintain a collaborative and supportive working relationship with colleagues and peers.
