Educational Requirements:
∎ Post graduate qualification in sociology, gender studies, political science, economics, development studies or legal studies and human rights or other closely related subjects in social sciences.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Substantial knowledge and work experience on reducing gender-based violence and child marriage
∎ Proven track record in Project Management of multi-year, large scale donor funded projects from design to implementation.
∎ Proven experience in the provision of technical advice and support to field programs, and skills in staff and partner development, mentoring, and training on protection
∎ Strong understanding of protection standards, key sectoral issues and processes including advocacy for protection
∎ Experience of and proven ability to build, sustain, advocate and manage strong partnerships and work collaboratively with a wide variety of organizations including Government agencies, private sector, academia, donor, civil societies and NGOs.
∎ Demonstrated expertise in quality reporting and written communications including project progress reports, OpEDs, stories of change, process documentation and other communications materials
∎ Demonstrated experience of advocacy
∎ Robust understanding in developing and implementing Results Based Management (RBM), transformation approaches like theory of change, logical framework approach etc
∎ Writing and speaking ability with academic rigor and simplicity for a wide range of audience in English and Bengali.
∎ Desirable:Advanced competency in Microsoft Office 365 and PeopleSoft systems

Salary:
∎ BDT. 10,56,451 gross per annum (13 months) with other benefits e.g. medical for spouse and children, contributory Provident fund, gratuity, leave & Insurance etc.
