Job Responsibilities:
∎ Involve in strategy formulation of operational plan in line with the organizational strategy, enhancing the organizational capacity incorporating with the best practices of food assistance programme.
∎ Design and develop the mechanisms of General Food assistance programme including farmers Market based on the programme & operational needs to attain the optimum result.
∎ Ensure optimum uses of programme resource like staff capacity, budget and commodity management to reduce misuse.
∎ Develop the implementation plan in accordance with the target house hold in camp and ensuring in time distribution, tracking the progress of achievement.
∎ Provide technical guidance & assistance in program implementation at appropriate manner which will reduce the crowd as well as receive less complain from beneficiaries.
∎ Ensure timely delivery of program activities (for example, monitoring against log frames and work plans).
∎ Ensure monitoring tools to conduct activity monitoring based on performance indicator and documents the inconsistencies and plan for improvement.
∎ Support routine and periodic beneficiaries’ database upgradation and confirmation of their entitled food packages based on family size in time with proper documentation for ensuring transparency.
∎ Work closely with the M & E team to ensure accountability mechanisms are in place and that feedback is incorporated into program design.
∎ Ensure timely program and donor reports on project activities in compliance with internal BRAC requirements and any relevant external donor requirements, including Monthly Distribution Reports, Commodity Receipts Reports, and other documentation.
∎ Establish a professional working relationship with the different stakeholders Donor, CIC, SMS and Local Government representatives through participating regular camp coordination meeting.
∎ Establish networking with Food cluster actors, WFP cooperating partners and participate in the cluster meeting and sharing their best practices.
∎ Ensure FGD has been conducted with recipient of food package to identify advocacy issue if any then formulation strategy to refer and establish the concern of beneficiaries.
∎ Ensure cost effective quality program implementation incorporating Donor Compliance that facilitate the continuation of donor fund.
∎ Ensure timely submission of monthly, Quarterly and annual report to donor.
∎ Assist in writing the project proposal and concept not to respective team of BRAC for further fund continuation.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
