Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in Social Science/ Sociology/ Anthropology/ Development Studies/ Women & Gender Studies from any recognised university with all second class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA 2.00 in all academic examinations.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinate designing and implementation overall plan for Gender Mainstreaming and Disability Inclusion (GMDI) in the FDMN and Host communities in HCMP (P-925) in BRAC.
∎ Analyse sector specific GMDI scope, priorities, risk & opportunities as required to implement into the sectoral areas (Health, Education, Protection, Shelter etc) of HCMP.
∎ Provide technical guidance to the sector leads (Education, Health, DRR, Shelter, Protection, Advocacy) ensure GMDI in HCMP.
∎ Design and Develop gender equality tools, frameworks, checklists and indicators to strengthen GMDI support in HCMP.
∎ Lead and systematize the process for GMDI technical skill development of sectoral areas (Health, Education, Protection, Shelter etc) of HCMP.
∎ Analyse implementation progress of the Gender Integration interventions and ensure technical and strategic input for effective field operation in HCMP programmes.
∎ Facilitate and coordinate with the Sectoral area Leads, management & working team in HCMP for effective collaboration on GMDI issue.
∎ Establish and strengthen ownership of HCMP to achieve GMDI goals.
∎ Lead the process of dialogue and negotiation for establishing GI result tracking and progress reporting mechanism with HCMP.
∎ Effective budget preparation, periodic analysis of planned budget, review of budget expenditure and ensure efficient budget management in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
∎ Lead and manage field operation team for Gender Mainstreaming and Disability Inclusion by professional guidance, mentoring and motivation in challenging context.
∎ Effective coordination with GJD’s intra component (KM, M&E, OD, Innovation) for achieving BRAC’s Gender equality goals.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 3-5 years professional experience in gender mainstreaming, Gender Based Violence, Engaging men and Boys, Disability Inclusion in the Host and Rohingya Community in Cox’s Bazar.
∎ Good understanding of the conceptual issues of Gender, Women empowerment and Disability Inclusion.
∎ Have skills on Project Management.
∎ Competencies on Gender analysis of programs, materials, policies.
∎ Have skills on facilitate Training Needs Assessment (TNA).
∎ Must demonstrate management skills in a team oriented environment, problem solving and decision making.
∎ Budget preparation and expenditure tracking.
∎ Have skills on communication and documentation.
