Experience:
Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, or Psychiatric Social Work. An MPhil or higher degree is preferred.
At least 5-8 years of work experience with I/NGO related to Mental Health and Psychosocial Support programming and operationalisation with proven experience in technical support, proposal writing, coordination and in emergency response management systems.
Demonstrated experience managing complex operations in challenging contexts and excellent inter-personal and team-building skills.
Skilled in team management and supervision, and capacity building/coaching of national and international staffs.
Good sense of confidentiality and cultural sensitivity.

Ensure the quality, relevance, and scalability of SAJIDA Mental Health Programme (SMHP) strategy and interventions by aligning them with national policies and international mental health programming standards.

Major Responsibilities
Overall
Technical assistance for programme design, proposal development, resource mobilisation, management of contracts (funds, grants) for SAJIDA Mental Health Programme (SMHP).
Technical input and support for strategic planning, policy influencing, research, and learning.
National and regional coordination, networking, and partnerships.
Shape and refine the strategy and direction of the SMHP programme, ensuring it aligns with the organisation's goals and the country's needs.
Projects/Proposal Design & Development
Lead the process of identifying needs, designing and developing project proposals.
Coordinate the identification of mental health needs within the country and regional context.
Ensure that interventions are aligned with global mental health policies, national priorities, and current programme activities.
Work closely with Fund Raising Department for grant/calls applications; provide technical guidance and direction as required.
Help identify and engage donors, ensuring technical discussions with donors and partners.
Implementation of feasibility studies for SMHP projects, considering public, technical, socioeconomic, cultural, and environmental factors.
Work with the Logistics and Finance departments to define and approve SMHP projects.
Programme Implementation and Reporting
Technical/Clinical Support (Supervision, Training & Capacity Building, SoPs).
Monitor Quality and Accountability of the Projects.
Partnership & Representation
To ensure active involvement of SMHP in national coordination, technical platforms, and sectoral partnerships.
Participate in mental health research by developing research ideas based on the needs of various projects and
services.
Provide technical support and supervision in designing and conducting mental health research.
Work closely with the SF research department to ensure the publication of mental health research findings.
