Job Responsibilities:
∎ VARD has been implementing VARD Eye Care Services (VARD-ECS) through well established four Eye Hospitals located in Sylhet district, Sunamgonj district and Comilla district This position is based at VARD Eye Hospital, Sunamganj.
∎ Job descriptions:
∎ Patient guidance and counseling at hospital and camp.
∎ Prepare Patient Screening Program (PSP) schedule
∎ Select PSP Venue
∎ Organize PSP in different Upazila Health Complex, GoB, Union Parishad and Community Level.
∎ Communicate with other NGOs, local club and other social and religious institutions to reinforce PSP.
∎ Social mobilization and select community partner for sponsor PSP
∎ Move to PSP venue as a member of PSP team
∎ Refer cataract patient to VARD Eye Hospital
∎ Follow up operated patients
∎ Perform promotional activities to promote Eye Care Services (VARD-ECS)
∎ Prepare periodical progress report
∎ Assist Hospital Manager (AFO) to perform the routine work of the hospital.
∎ Perform other related duties assigned by Hospital Manager (AFO)
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Experience in local resource mobilization and social mobilization
∎ Active listening and feedback
∎ Analytical
∎ Report writing and communication
∎ Networking and advocacy
∎ Organizing and facilitation
∎ Willingness and ready to travel to working areas frequently
∎ Gender equality and mutual respect
∎ Good computer literacy especially in MS word and Excel and Internet.
∎ Valid motor cycle driving license
Salary:
∎ Tk. 12000 - 13000 (Monthly)
∎ Other benefits will provide as per organizational policy.
