Education:
    • Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting
    • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting
    • Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) in Accounting
  • At least Bachelor in Commerce (Accounting)/BBA (Accounting)/BBS (Accounting) preferably 3 years’ experience in similar nature of job.

Skills Required: Accounts and Finance,Budgetary Control,Financial Analysis,Financial Reporting,Stock Management,Tally Software

Additional Requirements:
  • Age 22 to 35 years
  • Excellent computer proficiency on MS Word and MS Excel, Tally software.
  • Good knowledge in budget preparation and financial reporting. 
  • Good knowledge about the financial planning, procurement rules and regulation, budget control, VAT and Tax related rules and regulation. 
  • Calculation of depreciation and store management.
  • Work under pressure and fulfill the requirement within the deadline and willing to give additional time.
  • Good behaviour with the colleagues in the office set-up.
  • Full cooperation and support to the colleagues.Team work spirit.


Responsibilities & Context:

VARD Eye Care Services (VARD-ECS) Ltd. is a sister concern non-profit organization of VARD. It has been implementing VARD Eye Care Services (VARD-ECS) through well-established four Eye Hospitals located Sylhet and Chittagong division.  These positions are based at VARD Eye Hospital, Osmaninagar, Sylhet, VARD, VARD Eye Hospital, Sunamganj,  VARD Eye Hospital, Jatopur, Sylhet and VARD Kamal Eye Hospital, Chouddagram, Cumilla.  

  • Maintain day to day financial transaction of VARD Eye Hospitals.

  • Maintain computer based (Tally Software) books of accounts and prepare periodical report.

  • Prepare necessary bill and vouchers.

  • Perform day to day transaction with banks.   

  • Analyze hospital budget and budget control.

  • Prepare periodical financial report and statement.

  • Ensure logistics and supplies timely through communication with Head Office.

  • Maintain hospital’s central store.

  • Supply of logistic to the hospital team timely from hospital central store.

  • Maintain fixed assets register and other related records.

  • Verify pharmacy, Ward, OT, Spectacles stock and submit report to the head office regularly.

  • Maintain leave register and personal files.

  • Filing internal and external documents.

  • Perform other relevant duties assigned by Manager (Finance and Accounts)/Hospital Manager (AFO).
