Education:
- Diploma in Nursing
- At least 3 years Diploma in Nursing & Midwifery degree from any recognized medical institution. Should have BNMC registration.

Responsibilities & Context:
EYE CARE SERVICES (VARD-ECS) LTD. is a sister concern non-profit organization of VARD. It has been implementing Eye Care Services (VARD-ECS) program since 1998 through well-established four eye hospitals located in Sylhet district, Sunamgonj district and Cumilla district. These positions are based at VARD Eye Hospital Jatorpur, Sylhet City.
- Perform patient’s routine examination.
- Patient admission and discharge.
- Patient management in Ward.
- Maintain medicine stock register.
- Provide counseling and eye health care education to patients.
- Patient follow up service in Ward.
- Provide pre- and post-operation care.
- Prepare patients for examinations and perform routine diagnostic checks (monitor pulse, blood pressure and temperature, provide drugs etc.
- Work within and cooperate with a multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain all medical record of admitted patients.
- Perform other related duties assigned by Ward In charge/Hospital Manager (AFO)/Medical Officer/Eye Specialist and Surgeon.
