∎ The Program Officer, Cox`s Bazar will assist in implementation of all sub-set of activities designed for Cox`s Bazar under BC/TIP.
∎ Winrock International is a non-profit organization that works with people around the world to increase economic opportunity, sustain natural resources, and protect the environment. Winrock strengthens the capacity of women, children, youth, and civil society organizations to actively participate in local and national development and to transform their societies. A new modification has been signed between USAID and Winrock International under which Bangladesh Counter Trafficking-In-Persons program will address Trafficking-in-Persons among Rohingya refugees and host communities. The program will address gaps in support of victims of TIP, child marriage and gender-based violence by designing activities that fall under each of the four "Ps" - Prevention, Protection, Prosecution and Partnership.
∎ BC/TIP Project is currently recruiting for the position of a full-time Program Officer in its Cox`s Bazar office to support the implementation of the sub-set of activities of the Bangladesh Counter Trafficking-In-Persons Project in Cox`s Bazar targeted at Rohingya Refugees and Host Communities. The goal of the project is to decrease the prevalence of human trafficking, child marriage and gender-based violence in Bangladesh including among Rohingya Refugees and Host Communities in Cox`s Bazar.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Program Officer will be reportable to and guided by the Program Director of BC/TIP;
∎ Assist in the development and dissemination of project deliverables, including reports (monthly, quarterly & annual), in coordination with other staff members of BC/TIP and implementing partners
∎ Carry out assurance functions of BC/TIP Cox's Bazar program to ensure smooth implementation of the activities;
∎ Regularly support and oversee relevant sub grantees in implementation of their activities in accordance with Winrock International's BC/TIP and USAID rules and standards;
∎ Organize training, workshop, discussion meeting, etc. as stipulated for BC/TIP in the workplan;
∎ Maintain regular communication and liaison with CICs and other stakeholders within camps and Chairmen and members from Union Parishads and Upazila Parishads and CTC members outside of camps;
∎ Maintain timely and accurate records of all activities of subgrantee and update relevant documents and databases;
∎ Assist in the establishing Peer Leaders' groups to work in and outside of camps and support to build the capacity of ANIRBAN Survivor voice group in advocacy activities and take all-out efforts to make them independent organizations;
∎ Assist in reviewing and updating all relevant training modules and guidelines for relevant activities in all four Ps;
∎ Collect required data and information to capture success stories of the TIP and child marriage survivors;
∎ Promote and implement effective measure to maximize the use of district level referral directories for survivors and at-risk group;
∎ Need based support for implementing police, prosecutors training
∎ Conduct regular field visits to monitor implementation of partner activities and organize BC/TIP's direct activities;
∎ Support Monitoring and Evaluation Manager with data input and other tasks, as needed;
∎ Other duties, as assigned.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum three years of relevant professional experience in a development sector program (INGO, UN, or USAID preferred)
∎ Knowledge and clear understanding of human rights, particularly CM aspects within Bangladesh's social context, the Child Marriage Restraint Act, and broader regional developments;
∎ Experience in working in child protection, community activism or human rights issues in Bangladesh strongly preferred;
∎ Organized, detail oriented and able to complete multi-tasks, while meeting deadlines;
∎ Experience in working with Rohingya population and host communities in Cox's Bazar;
∎ Flexible, self-motivated and able to work with little supervision;
∎ Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in teams and multi-cultural environments;
∎ Computer proficiency: Microsoft Suite including Office, email and internet, Bengali Typing using Bijoy;
∎ Fluency in English and Bangla required.
