  • Good speaking and writing skills in both Bangla and English

  • Skill on MS-word, MS-excel and power point

EKMATTRA Society is an NGO Bureau registered national not-for-profit organization. It is aimed to work for the betterment of the underprivileged children of Bangladesh. As part of its developmental activities, it designs and conducts programmatic and research interventions on the conditions of the children and underprivileged segments of society. The objectives of the evidence-based programs are to explore the challenges in existing conditions and offer practical interventions for the government, civil society and international development partners.

Job Description

  • Provide direct mental health support, including counseling and crisis intervention, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for children

  • Organize the initial assessment with children to assess the situationPsychosocial risk assessment and recommendation of mitigating measures

  • Develop educational materials and resources on mental health topics to enhance awareness and understanding among staff

  • Collaborate with an in-house Psychologist to assess and address the psychological needs of individuals and groups.

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including other staff, external partners, and regulatory agencies, to ensure transparency and alignment with mental health goals.

  • Advocate for mental health awareness and compliance within the organization, promoting a culture of support and ethical responsibility.

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of mental health programs in the academy, making necessary adjustments to meet the evolving needs of children.
