Job Context:
∎ Project: Rights Jessore is implementing BC/TIP project of Winrock International supported by UASID entitled "Community Mobilization to Combat Trafficking in Persons and unsafe Migration". Rights Jessore is looking for a suitable candidate in this position to implement this part. • Expected date of start : 1 July 2019
∎ Three (03) months` probation starting from the joining date.
∎ Project based employment extendable until August 2020 depending on performance and continuation of funding.
∎ Reporting to : Program Manager
∎ Job Location : The position in based in Jessore and requires regular field trip in project areas in Narail and Jessore
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Program Officer Child Marriage (CM) and M&E will contribute to the effective project implementation, coordinate relevant activities related to child marriage
∎ Coordinate and liaise with primary and secondary stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality implementation of CM component activities according to the approved workplan
∎ Support capacity building of stakeholders through facilitating meetings, workshops, study circles, and trainings for reducing and addressing CM
∎ Work closely with peer leaders and ANIRBAN members, communicate with UP members, VAW prevention committee members and community leaders
∎ Organize different type of events including training, orientation, stakeholders' meeting, community meeting, sensitization meeting and school orientation
∎ Assist the BC/TIP Program Officer - CM in developing and the disseminating handouts, leaflets, case studies and other relevant materials for workshops and training sessions
∎ Support the implementation of community-led campaigns
∎ Provide direct support to the victims and persons at-risks of child marriage
∎ Ensure implementation of project activities as per guidelines
∎ Regular visit and provide technical support to ensure program quality and team work
∎ Collect project data, filled up M&E formats and send to BC/TIP periodically, ensure routine updates of M&E applications by the program staff
∎ collect case study, monitor field activities and based on collected data and information, prepare monthly and quarterly report and develop case studies on
∎ Incorporate learning into the program to improve the quality of program output in consultation with BC/TIP KML unit
∎ Coordinate with and support to the Program Manager for overall project implementation.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 31 to 45 years
∎ At least three years' experience in project management in similar position on community mobilization, trafficking, migration, child marriage prevention, child rights, legal aid and advocacy issues and M&E in NGO or research organization.
∎ Advance computer skills especially in MS office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc). Both English and Bangla typing skill is a must.
∎ At least 3 years of working experiences in similar position in any reputed NGO;
∎ Willing to work with direct beneficiaries (survivors, at risk and common people) in the rural area using local transport.
∎ Standard English language skill (reading, writing, listening, speaking) is essential.
∎ Dynamic leadership (ability to motivate and develop others)
∎ Behavioral: Goal oriented, victim-friendly, diplomatic, flexible, adaptive, punctual, time-bound.
∎ Excellent skills in facilitation, writing, presentation and report writing
∎ Ability to work in a diverse team setting.
Salary:
∎ Tk. 29500 (Monthly)
∎ Salary: BDT. 29,500/- per month (gross) Other Benefits• Festival bonus equivalent to 1-month gross salary;• Other admissible benefits as per budget and organizational policy;
