Job Responsibilities:
∎ Establish and maintain general, HR, operational, financial, and other business policies, and ensure those policies are followed by the staff and the producers.
∎ Ensure the unit functions within the goals and philosophy of the company.
∎ Plan for optimal use of manpower, monitor production and procurement activities to ensure delivery of the right quantity, quality, and type of products.
∎ Procure raw materials, accessories, and supplies, and manage their storage, handling, and processing.
∎ Implement a stock holding model to predict the stock of raw materials depletion and requirements.
∎ Plan and monitor production schedules based on buyers' purchase orders, market forecasts, and trends.
∎ Ensure timely delivery of finished products to buyers, and revise schedules as necessary based on priority and order flow.
∎ Maintain production process continuity by addressing issues related to raw materials supply, and maintenance support.
∎ Foster good relationships with the local community and government authorities.
∎ Assist in maintaining a Producer Management Committee (PMC) to support the smooth operation of the unit and collaborate with PMC for their activities.
∎ Ensure fair and equitable wages and benefits for producers and staff, treat each individual with dignity and respect, and maintain comfortable, enrichment-friendly, and healthy working conditions.
∎ Implement appropriate waste treatment measures to prevent pollution.
∎ Accurately calculate product costing and pricing, and periodically review and update product prices for buyers and the company.
∎ Prepare and submit annual business plans and budgets for the unit on time.
∎ Submit financial reports, including profit and loss account, balance sheet, gratuity, and provident fund statements, on a monthly to company head office within the specified timelines.
∎ Stay informed about the unit's events, bottlenecks, backlogs, stock of finished goods and raw materials, order flows and take necessary measures to address them.
∎ Maintain a record of completed orders by item and provide timely production updates to the supervisor.
∎ Ensure all communications from the unit to other divisions follow the proper channels.
∎ Conduct continuous research to improve production processes, increase efficiency, reduce costs, and identify growth opportunities.
∎ Advocate for the safety of producers and staff, and implement necessary accident prevention measures.
∎ Conduct annual performance appraisals for all unit employees.
∎ Attend meetings, conferences and workshops as organized.
∎ Maintain a harmonious relationship with all staff, producers, and stakeholders.
∎ Maintain adequate cash reserves for smooth operations of the production unit.
∎ Assist in hiring producers according to the company rules as needed and ensure compliance with service conditions.
∎ Ensure adherence to General Policy and HR Manual, uphold professional conduct, and handle disciplinary cases appropriately.
∎ Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 50 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 5 to 10 years of experience in the following areas:
∎ Factory Management/Production Operations
∎ Marketing
∎ Staff supervision
∎ Decision-making and good communication skills
∎ Time management and problem-solving abilities
