• Strong knowledge of frozen food processing, preservation, and packaging.

• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Strong understanding of HACCP, ISO, GMP, and food industry regulatory requirements.

• Analytical mindset with focus on operational efficiency and cost control.

• Proficiency in production planning software / ERP systems.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Production Management:

• Plan, organize, and control production activities to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
• Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and raw materials.
• Monitor production workflows, identifying bottlenecks and implementing corrective actions.
• Ensure timely production in alignment with demand forecasts and sales requirements.

Quality Assurance & Compliance:

• Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards (HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP, BRC, or equivalent).
• Collaborate with QA/QC teams to maintain product consistency and quality.
• Implement and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for hygiene, safety, and sanitation in production areas.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure regulatory compliance.

Operational Excellence:

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency, waste reduction, and cost optimization.
• Develop and implement lean manufacturing and automation techniques in frozen food processing.
• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment in coordination with the engineering team.

Team Leadership:

• Supervise, train, and motivate production staff to achieve performance targets.
• Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and safety within the production unit.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and workforce planning to meet operational requirements.

Inventory & Resource Management:

• Manage raw material, packaging, and finished goods inventory to ensure smooth production flow.
• Monitor wastage and implement effective yield improvement strategies.
• Coordinate with supply chain and procurement teams to align production schedules with material availability.

Reporting & Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of production data, downtime, yield, and resource utilization.
• Prepare and present periodic production reports, KPIs, and improvement plans to management.
• Ensure compliance with statutory documentation and audit requirements.
