Responsibilities & Context:
Lean Production Leadership
Operate and optimize 22 sewing lines under a lean manufacturing system
Implement modular/lean line setups to reduce WIP and increase flow efficiency
Drive a culture of continuous improvement (Kaizen) across all lines
Industrial Engineering (IE) Integration
Work closely with IE team on SMV validation, operation breakdown, and line balancing
Ensure correct work aids, method improvements, and standardization
Use real-time data to improve efficiency %, output, and labor productivity
Manpower Optimization
Plan and run production with minimum effective manpower
Target high operator efficiency (multi-machine handling where applicable)
Reduce dependency on excess helpers and non-value-adding roles
Production & Output Control
Ensure all lines meet daily output targets and shipment deadlines
Monitor WIP, bottlenecks, and throughput across all 22 lines
Take fast corrective action to maintain flow and avoid delays
Quality Management
Maintain strong inline quality systems
Reduce DHU%, rework, and alteration rates
Ensure consistency across all lines for export-quality denim
Cross-Functional Coordination
Align with merchandising, planning, cutting, finishing, and IE
Execute production based on TNA and capacity planning
Ensure smooth input-output flow with minimal disruption
Leadership & Discipline
Manage supervisors, line chiefs, and operators across all lines
Build a performance-driven production culture
Train teams on lean practices and efficiency mindset
