Additional Requirements: Minimum 5 year experiences as Sr. Manager/AGM position in the IE dept.

Responsibilities & Context:

Lead the IE TEAM

  • Capability to lead the whole IE Team in a Denim garments manufacturing factory.

Ensure Production Capacity declaration & Efficiency Monitoring

  • Monitor production lines for performance, efficiency, and bottlenecks.

  • Propose improvements to optimize line balancing and manpower utilization.

  • Support the planning team in calculating production capacity and resource requirements.

  • Evaluate machine and manpower capability for upcoming orders.

 

Method Study & Work Measurement

  • Conduct time and motion studies to analyze work processes.

  • Recommend improved work methods and layouts to reduce production time & manpower to maximize the productivity.

  • Update Standard Minute Values (SMVs) regularly.

 

Line Layout & Setup

  • Design and implement efficient workstation layouts and line setups to get maximize productivity!

  • Coordinate with production and maintenance teams during new line setups or modifications.

 

Continuous Improvement Initiatives

  • Participate in cost reduction, less manpower with new technology, productivity enhancement, and quality improvement initiatives.

 

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Collect, analyze, and present production data for decision-making.

  • Track KPI metrics such as efficiency, productivity, downtime, and operator performance.

 

Support for New Product Development (NPD)

  • Participate in pre-production meetings and pilot runs to ensure feasibility of new styles/products.

  • Analyze style complexities and estimate production time and cost.

  • Assist in training sewing operators or production workers on standardized methods and best practices.

 

Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and ergonomic best practices.

  • Support audits and implement corrective actions where necessary.
