Production Center- In charge mange the production center to run it toward self-sustain production-oriented center by planning, analysis, and established strategies and policies; this role focuses on identifying potential growth of Center and expanding income opportunities for economic benefit of the Rohingya community on Bhasan Char.
Provide strategic leadership and operational management for the handicraft production center in Bhasan Char.
Drive production, design the products and marketing initiatives to strengthen self-reliance and revenue generation.
Lead and supervise the production team; ensure effective coordination with management, UNHCR, and key stakeholders.
Maintain regular communication with potential buyers and manage strong relationships with supply chain vendors.
Oversee order processing, inventory control, raw material sourcing, and ensure proper documentation (stock register, challan, ledger, cashbook, sales register).
Prepare timely production, sales, and financial performance reports (monthly, quarterly, annual).
Develop staff work plans and ensure efficient execution of production targets and operational activities.
Assess and select training participants; coordinate with sewing zones and production units to integrate skilled FDMN women and girls.
Monitor skill-development training, quality control, and market promotion activities.
Manage incentive distribution for trainees and production laborers.
Support capacity building for staff and ensure continuous improvement in facilitation, production skills, and business processes.
Conduct cost–benefit analysis, monitor overall intervention performance, and ensure proper documentation.
Oversee IEC and promotional material distribution across display and sales points to enhance brand visibility.
Uphold professional conduct, maintain positive relations with refugees, and avoid any conflict of interest.
Perform any other business-related duties as assigned by the project team.
Safeguarding
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
