∎ Background in Lingerie and ladies' fast-moving fashionable knit Items (for European Market) will be highly preferred.
∎ Shanto Mariam University of Creative Technology,BGMEA University of Fashion Technology students will get preference
∎ Training/Trade Course: Fashion Designing,Pattern,Sewing
∎ Skills Required: CAD, CAD Pattern, Fashion Designing, Product Development

Job Responsibilities:
∎ We are seeking a Product Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
∎ Develop product development strategies to fulfil our core customers' needs by determining specifications, and production timetables, and developing marketing strategies.
∎ Monitor the product development process to provide constructive solutions when problems arise.
∎ Work closely with the production team to ensure a smooth process of sample and bulk production.
∎ Understand the competitors and market competition and provide guidance and advice to clients.
∎ Coordinate with the Product Development design team and fabric-trim team to develop new designs, fabric, elastics, and trims.
∎ Develop samples for photoshoots.
∎ Prepare merchandising sheets/BOM and tech packs after set approval.
∎ Serve as the process owner for style clarity meetings and hand over style files to the production merchandiser.
∎ Work with the production team for PP samples, TOP samples, and bulk approvals.
∎ Update the plan tracker and coordinate with the production team for an on-time product launch.
∎ Incorporate new RM ideas, silhouettes, and finishes and liaise with the sample room and International Team and Production department.
∎ Pass on the cost components by liaising with the relevant marketing merchant to make sure the designs hit the buyer's target FOBs while also meeting the required profit margin for our company.
∎ Conduct Risk Analysis meetings and style amendment follow-up on styles presented to and picked up by the buyer at the initial edit.
∎ Build good working relationships with all our customer design/sourcing teams and internal and external suppliers where necessary.
∎ The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
∎ Strong product development skills, with experience in developing marketing strategies.
∎ Good understanding of the production process, with the ability to troubleshoot problems.
∎ Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with cross-functional teams.
∎ Familiarity with fabric, trim, and product design.
∎ Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, with excellent organization skills.
∎ Detail-oriented and able to think creatively to develop new designs and ideas.
∎ Good business sense, with experience in cost analysis and profit margin.
∎ Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers and suppliers.
Additional Requirements:

∎ The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
∎ Fluent in English, with experience working with European customers.
∎ Solid knowledge of garment construction and manufacturing methodology.
∎ Lady's Lingerie and/or intimate background.
∎ Hands-on knowledge of all aspects of production and quality.
∎ A proven track record of setting and achieving quality standards across a Ladies' wear knitted and lingerie product category.
∎ Pattern-making skills, with experience fitting garments and, ideally, pattern cutting within a manufacturing and/or retail (Technical Department) environment.
∎ A firm understanding of garment pattern grading.
∎ Experience in establishing raw material testing standards.
∎ Good communication skills with experience in liaising with a range of suppliers and other business partners (internal and external).
∎ Organised and efficient, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise.
∎ A systematic approach to logging and recording information.
∎ The ideal candidate should also have fluent English, experience with EU markets, and the qualifications listed above.
