Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Economics, Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Purchasing & Supply Management
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Advise requisitioning staff and recipient entities on the full range of procurement issues, providing support and guidance at all stages of the procurement cycle.
∎ Prepare / oversee preparation and distribution of invitations to tender and manage / conduct all aspects of bid / proposal evaluations.
∎ Formulate strategies and design innovative solutions to resolve issues / conflicts for complex procurement situations.
∎ Establish and maintain work program and schedule for ongoing and newly planned contracts.
∎ Participate in negotiations with senior supplier representatives; sign procurement orders up to the authorized limit, and in cases where the amount exceeds authorized signature authority, prepare submissions to the relevant authority for review and subsequent approval.
∎ Identify new technologies, and products / services, evaluate and recommend potential supply sources and participate in the incorporation of research results into the procurement program.
∎ Ensure compliance with national / local laws, rules and regulations in execution of the procurement tasks
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Excellent standard of English- verbal, reading and writing.
∎ Demonstrable knowledge of procurement / contract principles, contracts administration.
∎ Flexible work attitude with ability to work productively in a team or work well independently to meet unexpected demands.
