Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Protocol development for resistant gene/s confirmation of newly developed disease resistant verity.
∎ Protocol development for disease causing agents isolation, identification and characterization.
∎ Identification of trait specific gene/s in crops, developed by ACI Vegetables Genetics.
∎ Designing the trait specific gene/s primer/s for confirming targeted gene/s in developed lines.
∎ Conducting PCR based research work for confirming targeted gene.
∎ Confirming diseases causing pathogens at molecular level.
∎ Work collaboratively with ASRBC research team.
∎ Contribute to the preparation of reports, publications and presentations on activities.
∎ Contribute to information generation and storage for maintaining the research database.
∎ Assist Chief Scientist for any kind of molecular research activities.
