Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Candidate must be a registered Nurse with master's degree in nursing/MPH with minimum 7 years of teaching experience. Candidate should be able to comply, operate, control, implement, development of all kinds of college activities as per policy Guideline, Rules and Regulations imposed time to time by Bangladesh Nursing & Midwifery council, medical education and family welfare division under Ministry of Health and family welfare, Chittagong Medical University (CMU) and other concern regulatory authority. He/She experienced in leadership and administration and has experienced as an educator and has vast knowledge in the areas of course curriculum, selection of guest lecturers, upgrade academic activities, clinical placement and student’s issues. He/She should Proactive, dedicated, punctual and start working should good interpersonal and presentation skills and able to work under pressure.
∎ 1. Responsibilities for conduct of examinations, permanent records of students, performing public relations duties for the college, student’s welfare, health, security, living condition in hostel.2. Regularly check the notice and maintain proper relationship with BNMC, Ministry of Health and Family planning, Chittagong Medical College (CMU), DGSH and concern regulatory and related authorities. 3. Regularly report about the college to the Governing Body through the proper channel4. Prepare academic routine, conduct classes, plan and maintain responsibility of fieldwork/clinical practice.5. Organize meetings of the Governing Body, internal management committee, academic etc, keep proper regulations and take action according to decisions.6. Ensure student registration under BNMC and the Chittagong Medical University (CMU).7.Manage student behavior in the classroom, hostel, library and in the campus by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures of the college.8. Update all necessary records accurately and completely as required by management, rules and regulations of Regulatory Authority and also ensure official documents in proper place and maintain security.9.Talk to the class teachers/academic coordinator, communicate with students and guardian about irregular, dropped-out students, current students’ performance and to take necessary step.10. Complete special duties/assignments/projects assigned by authority on time11.Maintain and enhance the growth of the College and to establish and maintain positive links with other Colleges12. He/She should observe dress of students and teachers, organize sports, cultural events, social activities for the students along with cleanliness of the college premises, to maintain discipline for students, teachers and staffs by formation of department committee.13. Others for the betterment of college.
