Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelors in Development Studies/Public Administration/ Public policy/Economics from any recognized University with CGPA 2.5 and above.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct research and analysis on specific policy issue for developing future advocacy plans
∎ Study and analyze national policy environment and situation to provide necessary and useful information to the Team Lead of Policy Advocacy to take timely initiative for influencing specific policies to the best interest of BRAC
∎ Provide support to the team lead to produce advocacy and communications material to publicize information on BRAC priorities through preparing reports, policy briefs, briefing notes, concept notes meeting minutes, event reports
∎ Actively design, organize, and coordinate policy dialogues with relevant stakeholders
∎ Conduct research and/or co-ordinate research to analyze specific national policy issues, environment and situation for use in policy positions; create evidence; and develop future advocacy plans
∎ Formulate and deliver policy messages to a variety of audiences including government, educational institutions, stakeholders, partners, other NGOs and international organizations
∎ Study and analyze national policy environment and situation to provide necessary and useful information to support other BRAC programmes for influencing specific policies
∎ Publicize information on BRAC's policy priorities through preparing reports, policy briefs, briefing notes, concept notes, meeting minutes, news articles, event reports etc.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years of work experience in development sector with particular focus on policy advocacy and public relations
